As a matter of fact a U.S. guy used this to escape out of the patrol car.

The rookie left the door ajar so he(suspect) can get some air since the A/c was broke. Another time the guy use a handcuff key & broke out unfortunately, he killed a soon to be retired officer. But the beer trick is amazing almost unbelievable. Something I will try this weekend. BTW it works on zip ties too. subed!

I was given chairs from a fam member, but she had pink-puffed handcuffs attached to one of the chairs :) I tried other tuts that used the bobby pin thru the key hole, but that didn't work for me. Being one to give up so easily, i found this tut and lo and behold! within seconds i opened up the cuff! I don't kno much about handcuffs but maybe yours are doubled locked which is MAYBE why this method does not work. I'm really not sure which type i had.

Bend the pin a second 90 degrees, and use it like the key, and you can even get out of double locked ones.

you put the other side of bobby pin in key hole to undo double lock! then you can also slide the straight sided bobby pin on other side also to get open but it will close one notch so the pin slides between teeth and hinged sway bar. you can keep a bobby pin in your belt if you seperate the leather at the seam in back. if your that worried about being arrested,lol!

Cool video. I should point out though. Most Cops use Double Locking handcuffs (S&W M-100 models) that this will not work on. Also there is a procedure for putting someone in restraints. Behind your back, palms out, key holes up. You really can't do anything from that point.
