aaaaaa.... kids....with.......violins(tha­t are in tune 90%). I agree with ttay1122 when you end up being emotionless. I study w/ suzuki method, and it sucks all your emotion.

there's wayyy too many kids takin up the violin nowadays. but maybe i'm just biased cuz i play the bass. with this many hundreds of kids playin, u can't hear a single mistake n they all sound in tune! :P

the method in fact is not so important as to have a good teacher and good parents, who make you enjoy (and practice)music .If you didn't enjoy it is part of the statistics: all mass event have many sheep and few good individuals. It doesn't mean, anyway, that all these young musicians are emotionless or a bunch of robots as you say. That's only the way you see yourself (you are not the only one, I agree).

I meant I do a better job singing cause my heart is in that...consequently I end up singing well that I get a better audience response than when I play violin...
