  • This is the best first aid kit I´ve seen so far. Thank you for showing it to us and explaining every item. Keep it up!

  • 8:20 LMAO!!! Really? just in case your GUN (Wink) needs to be covered.

  • Wow Missy.. You're beautiful :)

  • @coastie14 Aww Thank you so much! Have a super holiday. And thanks again for the nice comment. xoxo Missy

  • DO NOT USE SUPPER GLUE,most of the brands are toxic to the blood i do recomened getting some new skin to replace the supper glue, new skin is like supper glue but its made for first aid,you dont want to hurt someone if your trying to fix them,(not trying to sound mean but i just want you to read this)

  • @armymedic98 THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR THE INFO!! I always can use great advice. Happy Holidays and sorry it has taken me so long to respond. xoxo Missy

  • oh cool

  • @mrfireclaw you're cool. Thanks for the comment. xoxo Missy

  • Most folks make fun of my kit when I show them that it includes maxi pads and tampons, until one day at work a buddy sliced his hand open pretty bad w/ a box knife. Couple people tried using the little 4x4s in the first aid kit at work, but to no affect, I then slapped a maxi pad on it, used the wings to secure it to itself and wrapped the sucker up. NO ONE makes fun of me now!

Plus they are so much more economical than the bloodsponges from Wal-Mart or CVS!

    Great idea on the kit!

  • @woohog1 WOW! Thanks for the awesome story. Yep ... they work!! Thanks for the awesome comment. xoxo Missy p.s. So sorry it's taken me so long to respond! Happy Holidays.

  • very informative

  • @begood4000 Thank yo so much! Happy Holidays. xoxo Missy

  • Thank you very much for Sharing!!!!!

What a way of meeting people and get to see their talent. At first was reluctant being on youtube, but getting to do this has brought me into the houses of some very special people. You are one of them. Life; isn't it wonderful!!! Keep up the good work. Hope You Are Having A Splendid Day!!!!

    A New Friend

    Erick

  • @erickdircks You are fabulous my friend! Thank you for the nice comment. I am so sorry that it has taken me this long to get back to you. I haven't been checking my mail for 6 months now. Anyway, I am enjoying some of your videos right now. Thanks again and happy holidays. xoxo Missy

  • I agree, you have great points, especially the blood stopper, using tampon pad's, which I do not yet have, but slowly getting the nerve to buy some for my medical kit.... if anyone ask's, I'll just say it's for my girlfriend, even though I don't have one yet...LOL.... Blessings and Cheers.

  • @ohoh00007 Lol!! Yes ... just say it's for the girlfriend ... one pack of pads and tampons can supply multiple kits so it's pretty useful. Anyway, thank you for the great comment and sorry it's taken me so long to get back. xoxo

  • @missiana69 Hi Missy... I did it...Shhhh... I bought a box early in the morning....less people around LOL... Just the basic pad's.... I'll mention it when I make the vids..... I am so behind in vids, and have so much to enlighten people.... Cheers.

  • Hi Missy, great video! Where can I pick up a bag like yours?

  • Great video and great kit!

  • @Doubledig Thank you so much! xoxo Missy

  • @Doubledig Thank you so much for the nice comment and just dropping! xoxo

  • Wow! This kit really impressed me. Lots of great ideas that I plan on copying (imitation is the highest form of flattery). Thank you so much for making it.

  • @TheUrbanPrepper Thank you so much!! Yes, I subbed you and hope to learn things as well! Thank you so much for the nice comment! xoxo

  • Thanks so much FreaknMissy! I am an Emergency Medic in the UK and it was great to see an 'American' style kit!

I want one of those bags! I love your organisation!

Please add more videos of your other first aid kits! You've intrigued me now!

    Thanks again!

    Dan :-)

  • @dantheman10091981 Wow! It's awesome to hear from an Emergency Medic in the UK! That is fabulous! Thank you so much for your kind comment. I apologize it's taken me so long to get back with you! I will add more videos in time, but I've just been super busy making music videos lately! Anyway, thanks again and take care. xoxo Missy

  • for blood stoppers try - QuikClot - if you have the $

  • @itubeyoublah Thanks for the tip! We will do. I am still adding and updating the kit so any info helps. xoxo Missy

  • That's probably the most comprehensive kit I've ever seen. Great job!

  • @MsSpy Hey! Thank you so much for the nice comment. So sorry it's taken me a while to get back at you! xoxo Have an awesome day!

  • Wow. Nicely organized! -Nax

  • thank you for making this very informative :)

  • @EQVAY04 Thank YOU for dropping by and commenting! xoxo Missy

  • thanks for making this, im getting my kit together and this helps a lot.

  • @americanB4america Absolutely and thank you for checking it out! Your channel is really cool too. The glocks stocks are just too big for my hands unfortunately, but I still like viewing the vids. I just added you and subbed. Much success!

  • Informative, concise & necessary material for the human condition...

  • @Cali35Latin Thank you so much for checking out the kit! It is a work in progress and you always have to upkeep it too. Much love Missy

  • your like a girl nutnfancy wow.

  • @airsoftloverusp WOW. That's just too mega-huge of a statement. I'm just FreaknMissy lol!! I do want to do more videos -- just got to get a better camera and set up. You rock. Thank you. xoxo Missy

  • tape up the Hydrogen peroxide there is a reason the bottle isnt clear light kills the effectiveness of it ...btw its really not good to use it my wound Doc and USNERDOC here in youtube says its bad for wounds it kills good cells and can cause infection so id get rid of the peroxide..use normal saline and a syringe(SP?) to flush a wound out other then that its a great kit

  • @stompySharpNpointy Wow! Thank you so much for the good pointers. Yeah, I've read that about hydrogen peroxide too and about how it's questionable. Thanks for the reminder of that and for your comment. It's very helpful! Have an awesome day- Missy

  • awesome *****

  • @tonydmen1 Wow - thank you for the five stars! I hope to make more vids soon. Have an awesome day - Missy

  • You need some moleskin, a little Bic lighter, space blanket, and a length of kevlar fishing line. I used these all the time running sound! Dave P Dawg.

  • @zorki1 Lol! Wow! So nice to hear from you. And yes you are right. I do have the lighter, space blanket, and moleskin in there (now ... I didn't when I made the video a while back, but I had an additional list of things I was missing listed under info). However, what's with the kevlar fishing line? Great hearing from you. xoxo

  • Wow... you know so much about first aid... I don`t even know half of the things you know about how to use a first aid kit...

Were you ever in a situation where you really had to use it to help a badly injured person?

  • @sweetfantasy33 No. Thank goodness. I am hoping that I will never HAVE to use any of this stuff. Again, it's just for emergency preparedness and for First Responder in a WROL (no emergency help - without rule of law) situations.

  • Nice easy going vid with info', look forward to more including your interest in the outdoors if you do them. Keep rockin :-)

  • @MINDWISEMAN Hey - thank you! I am hoping to do more videos but need a better camera and SOME TIME...I am so busy with the band that it's hard to find time to do more videos. Thank you for your comment. Missy

  • You are stocked!!

  • Very nice kit. Thanks for sharing.

  • @mrmomo0472 Hey Thank you so much for checking out my page! Really appreciate the comment. Your new friend - Missy

  • Highly impressed! I'm 80% into building my own home/office/work aid kit...I have been using Nutnfancy's Level 1 and 2 F.A.K. vids as a guide, but this video has given me some good ideas. I really like your container (with the transparent pockets) and how you have it organized--comfort vs. trauma. Also, you speak much more intelligently than I'd expect a rock musician would ;) and at a good pace that doesn't cause my attention to wander...I hope you'll consider making more vids! ~KD

  • @kombatdiver1336 Wow!! Thank you so much for the nice comment! That really helps to know that I have a good pacing. I know I have watched other videos and get a little confused or it's going too slow - so that means a lot to me that I can be helpful and articulate to others. I just came onto my youtube channel and everything is all turned around. I'm still a bit confused. I hope I am writing you back correctly. Anyway, have a great day and thank you for being so kind! Your New Friend Missy

  • Great video and awesome kit! Thanks for sharing!!

    5*s

  • Woooo!!! I got a shout out from gwargwar1981! Thank you buddy! Nice to see you again and your comment is very much appreciated - Your new friend Missy

  • Very well stocked kit and well done on the VID. I checked out your myspace page and you really rock.. Take care..

  • testing...testing....my reply does not seem to be working.

  • I've been trying to comment you over and over!! My reply is not working! Thank you again for coming by and checking out my video and my myspace!! Lol!! That means a lot to me that you checked out the music! I can't wait to delve into your channel and see all your vids - your new friend - Missy

  • Thank you so much! That was on my list under (more info) to add. Glad to know about the Bic lighter! -your new friend - missy!

  • Ugh...I just made a mistake and accidentally removed comment by @mrmonkeyman50. I am rewriting it so viewers reading might also receive all info: This is comment written by @mrmonkeyman50. He wrote:

    Part 2: (lots to say ;-) )

I would also include a small lighter so you know you have fire with you. Don't use a Zippo though, they dry out, use a Bic.

By the way, GREAT TIP on the bag! Thanks!

  • @missiana69 Oh wow! I feel like you just rummaged around in my brain! Let me know if you found anything cool up there.

  • @mrmonkeyman50 hahahaha!! Yeah...me too! I'm totally confused with this new format. I hope I will get use to it. I just tried to reply and then deleted stuff ...oh anyway, I just made a mess on my comments page, but you had so many good ideas that I wanted to put them up for others! Talk soon! Missy

  • I work with firefighters and USAR people (and I'm also in the Valley!)

Hint: you don't want to keep H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) in a clear tube as it will break down in light. Wrap some black electrical tape around the tube and that will fix things. Also, you may want to consider Betadine rather than H2O2. Also, perishables will degrade faster if they are hot (like in LA). Remember expiration dates assume storage in dark cool environment.

  • @mrmonkeyman50 - Wow Thank you so much for the helpful hint. I think that I recall that from somewhere about using dark bottles, but I love the electrical tape idea. Thank you. I will definitely include that in. You Rock!

  • Great video. I'm a bleeder!, three broken noses! man its a faucet.

  • Wow! Three times?! Are you a UFC fighter or something? Lol!! Take care of that face! Thanks for dropping by. xoxo missy

  • @missiana69 -ufc, no. Not that good, and too pretty!

  • For @heavensarmory.

    You're too pretty?? I wanna see...... ;)

  • Not bad at all. I have been an EMT for 7 years, and I am impressed with your kit. The nice thing about a first aid kit is they are very person specific. Yours has seemed to cover about all of the bases for a last ditch effort to help people. And that is great! Keep the videos coming. I need to make a few on my first aid kit and stuff I have ready for a bad day. Might I suggest a CPR mask?...

  • Wow! Thank you! That means a lot coming from an expert. I think the CPR mask is an excellent idea and it's going on my list of things to have in here. Thank you for the suggestion. your new friend - missy

  • Expert is a little much... but made me feel good about my self... lol Your very welcome. If you need any other advice feel free to ask hun.

  • do you have laws there that protect you if you stop to help some one,

  • Wow! That is a great question! Yes, we do have good samaritan laws here but how much they protect a person - I'm not sure about that. However, it seems like any one can sue a person for any reason these days. But that is an excellent question for me to delve into for more knowledge and I appreciate you asking it. For some reason, I see using this first aid kit more for a situation where there would be no EMS readily available or help is unavailable at all. Thanks again - your new friend Missy

  • Awesome vid and very practical.

It reminds me of when I was on the street,my friends would always say,Anya, has it all.lol

    Rock ON!!!

  • Wow. thank you so much Anya. I must say that I've checked out your page and will be subbing and adding as a friend! You are VERY THOROUGH too hahahah! Thanks again. Your New Friend - Missy

  • Great video, cool kit

I really like the layout of the bag with the two halves that open up for easy ID and access

    Thanks for the video

  • Hey! Thank you for checking out my video and for your kind words! The bag is the Freedom Bag and it's definitely working for me right now! I really appreciate your coming by and commenting too. I have time today to check out more of your many many videos. Can't wait.

  • Holy Smokes Missy...that's not a First-Aid Kit...It's a portable Hospital!!! LOL =)

    Great kit and good info!

    5*****

  • LOL!! Yeah, it's like a mini hospital isn't it? I have so many emergency packs and each of those have a much smaller first aid kit. This is more for an overall traumatic event so it's got a lot of stuff. But I am definitely missing some items for that type of kit. Anyway, Thank you for commenting and the stars!

  • Amazing Kit!

You pack like I do :)

    ★★★★★

  • Your stars are giant! Thank you so much for your nice comment. That's a compliment that I pack like you.

  • Excellent Kit! ***** I've subbed to your channel. Be Safe

    -Ryan

  • Wow. Thank you for subbing! Wow I do hope to have more videos in time. Thank you for your kind words Ryan.

  • Most excellent~ You Rock! 5 stars ******

  • Yay! You ROCK! Thank you so much. I have some time today so I can't wait to turn on your channel! xoxo missy

  • Hi Missy, Awesome video! That is a really nice bag for your purpose. Your kit is very organized and that is crucial when time counts. There's always something else to add, but you definitely have a great kit there. Thanks for your support on my channel as well. 5* Take Care.

    PS, I'm a long-time bass player too!

  • OMGoodness! PackRat!! Wow Thank you so much for writing me - you are like a survivalist rockstar in my eyes - hahaha! It really means a lot to me that you checked out my video! Of course, any help or criticism is always appreciated too. That's so awesome that you play bass too. Wooo! a fellow musician. Thank you for the stars. xoxo missy

  • @yoyoimhome - I tried to email you back but your account is now closed so it wouldn't go through. I am not sure what you two have gone through but so sorry that you felt the need to close your account. I thought your channel was helpful and purposeful too and I enjoyed what little time I had on it. Thank you again for playing me on your channel too. You were the first to do so and I appreciate it very much. Bye.

  • Hey miss thanx for the infomation on this. You make me want to get one going cause the earth seems pissed off lately. That bag is cool. Im gonna get one

  • YOYOIMHOME is a child be carefull about what he says and how he claims to be. and if he disagrees with you he will follow you and bad mouth you everywhere so I am giving him a taste of his own medicine

  • little bit bigger than my first aid kit =P

  • hahahaha! Yeah...just a little bit bigger ;)

  • You already have Eye Wash. That's good

  • @yoyoimhome You can say what ever you like but you have nothing that could get me fired as I am retired and a volunteer with them. And happened to be one of the most respected persons in my region. and after I show them the crap you have said because I have kept copies of everything they wont give a shit what you say....

As to the owner of this video I apologise but this 12yo child has been harrassing me for awhile & thinks it is fun to make idol threats and act as if he is a doctor or such

  • Nice kit. Recommended items for this kit: Steri-Strips After Bite or Sting Relief Triangular Bandages Ace Bandage SAM Splint Surgi-Pads Irrigation Syringe #11 Scalpel Eye Wash or Eye Cleaner Ammonia Inhalants Everything is great. Good luck to you!
  • Hey! Thank you very much for checking out my first aid kit and thanks for the added recommendations! I will have to look up the Irrigation Syringe. What is that good for? I appreciate the good feedback. Missy

  • The irrigation syringe is a specialized syringe with a very very small tip that is good for flushing out major wounds. It needs to be good pressure to get the wound completely clear of debris.

  • @missiana69 careful what this yoyo kid says he is only 12yo who likes to pretend he is a doctor or medic and give advice he knows nothing about other than what he has seen on youtube.

  • @yoyoimhome retard.

  • @FixedByDoc Because you said i should commit suicide. I'm not 12 years old... Your just stupid dude and you need to get over yourself and Missiana69 ignore this guy

  • @yoyoimhome Yes you are all. you did was remove your info from you channel when I found out how old you were dumbass and you lied about alot of crap you try to pretend about. I know where you live your dads name and your name and your brothers name also your email account. All of which you got rid of any evidence of from your channel once you got called on your BS.

  • @yoyoimhome LIES

  • @yoyoimhome retard

  • @yoyoimhome get over yourself.

  • Great video! I've always wondered what was in there. This will help me set mine up better too.
