Sadly, my loving wife of 10 years passed away last Friday, July 23rd. It all happened pretty quickly, although she had been sick for a while. Myself and her daughter were at her side the whole time, right to the end. And she fought to the end as well. So, as this song says it was no accident, it also was meant to be this way. Not sure why yet, hopefully I will have some kind of idea in the near future. But God put us together, and she was in God's hands when she left us. She WILL be missed.

For the record, George Strait did not do this song. This is Tracy Byrd, and it was originally recorded in 1995. It's also mine and my wife's song, was one of two songs played during our wedding ceremony. This became our song almost immediately after we met, because we met in an internet chatroom, and I moved 1200 miles to be with her and start a new life. Was the best thing I EVER did. In September, we will be married 10 VERY happy years.

@HappyPenguin24Actually, I don't know how many of you saw my response on this a while back. Sadly, right after I posted the above comment, my wife passed away. A year ago July 23rd. Was THE worst day of my life. She passed away with me holding one hand, and her daughter holding the other. So, if you have someone you love, NEVER take them for granted. They can be gone in the 'blink of an eye'. Still can't listen to this without crying my eyes out. I know I will NEVER find anyone else like her.
