I don't think she's so much as saying "Ico"; rather she's saying the same thing Ico says. I think it's sort've like a brother/ sister/ friend term.

you may havent realized that all the shadows you fight in the game were kids with horns like Ico, if you watch carefull ... in this video you can see it at 1.09.. and you also realized of that in the end of the game ... after know that, i feel a little weird when i kill the shadows..... and that's maybe other explantation for the reason why the shadows kiddnap Yorda... they may want her to save them...

Her AI is sigificantly better than the NA version (because America rushed the release and lost the "Goods"). She talks, she doesn't just standaround like a little dolt when shadows attack, she points at important things when Ico can't solve a puzzle. But the shadows AI is also smarter and more agressive.

In the japanese/europien (sp o.o) there's bonus features, and one is that you can play as Yorda. That makes me wonder, is Ico the idiot it that one? o_<
