Sounds good! So glad to see people using this to make house. Can Maschine apply swing rhythms without going to the DAW? Or does the DAW need to have swing functionality (like in Ableton) to apply it?
Hey, I've been searching for a good quality drum machine for recording; however, i don't want anything to complex that i will take forever to figure out. cos i don't have the will power for that :P so i was wondering if this should do the trick for me. Also which drum machine do you think is better? Arturia Spark or Maschine? Thanks
@queerp Maschine is much more versatile than Spark. It is also a more mature product now with the latest firmware that it allows hosting of AU/VSTs making maschine almost a DAW
trying to decide what to buy for techno and tech house production, would you recommend the maschine?would it be sufficient or adequate for techno and tech house production?
@DirtyDevilDesign Sure, it would be more than adequate. The amount of samples in the library and the functionality of Maschine, make it real beast for techno and tech house.
@nakabar It is not hard at all. The interface is very intuitve. There is a pdf guide in the forum that makes it all clear (apart from the user's manual)

@mondedusilence Spark is shit, fiddly controls and terrible build quality, definitely go for machine or something by Akai

@rijsberman
No i's not. There is a "custom" manual as well in the forum that is very helpful... You ll need only 1-2 days of practice...
