@dlohtreb Let's suppose i'm as dumb as you are and only know one of their songs, so FUCKiNG WHAT? What if fucking SOLITUDE is the heaviest one for me?! FUCK YOU! I CAN CHOOSE WHICHEVER SONG I WANT AS MY FAVORITE AND HEAVIEST, SO GO FUCK YOU DADDY!
@dlohtreb What's wrong with ME? Man, i would have NEVER bothered you had you not made fun of my comment, but since you did, stop whining and deal with it.
If you ain't got something positive to share keep the fuck to yourself next time around! Drop dead!
@leesoarez And we can choose to comment on your unworthiness as we please. But in reality I think you are so unworthy that you should be outlawed from rock music together with neo-nazis. Also they don't like people with a different opinion.
Not to offend anyone....but what the hell is up with Tony's yellow calfskiin suit....dear Ahura. At least he puts it together at 3:29. Poor Tony ...a god amongst fools.
If you ever have read 'Doom Let Loose' by Martin Popoff, in the last section of the book about the reunion with Ozzy, either Iommi or Geezer mentions that they rehearsed this and wanted to play this live with Ozzy during the reunion, but Ozzy didn't want to. Lazy ass Ozzy. I want to say that they said it was included in the 2005 rehearsals. Would have been so badass to hear this song played live again.
@qwiskomg It's just really cool that there influence spans the course of generations, that's all. Much music of the period will be forgotten while Sabbath will live on forever.
@qwiskomg It's just really cool that there influence spans the course of generations, that's all. Much music of the period will be forgotten while Sabbath will live on forever.
Um, I was talking to a guy named Aerosmith. But ok, sure....
By the way, Aerosmith is okay. Not my favorite band, but had some decent songs. If that's a problem for you, then you can get bent, because as far as musical preferences, everyone has them, and they are all different. I'm sure I don't like most of the shitty death/nu metal bands you like, but I'm not going to knock them too much because I don't care.
This tune just courses through you, melting your mind and making every hair on your neck stand up... One of my favourite Sabbath tracks, thanks for posting this. So good to hear a live version.
Sabotage is great, Vol 4 is great, but this album is just raw metal (SBS) and its got to be my favorite mostly for this, Spiral architect, and Sabra Cadabra.
I miss the guitar harmonies between verses; I call them guitarmonies. Too bad Iommi didn't have a hired gun on 2nd guitar for the road. I can understand not wanting a 2nd guitar--you always have to worry about the mix, & egos get involved also. Geoff Nicholls could have played the harmonies had he been there at the time, and Iommi could have stuck him behind a curtain. I saw G. N. come out from behind the curtain one time, & he looked really scruffy, like he just crawled out of a dumpster.
@morgmagg Geoff didn't join the band until 1980. After joining, he did play rhythm guitar on occasion (like on some tracks on "Reunion", very faint on "Children Of The Grave" but he's there.)
Sad recordind? I dont think so. As far as bootlegs go its pretty good. Sounds like Sabbath were doing a good job too, Ozzy's voice sounds on the mark. Great track from the greatest band ever. Pity about all the law suits, politcs and crap. The legacy of 4 friends who achived such superb music should be bigger than all that.
@supertrucker714 one sad recording? you obviously have no knowledge or appreciation of bootlegging live recordings. There is a whole culture behind it, and without, many bands greatest performances would never have been heard unless you were there. There is alot of life behind recordings like this, and while it may lack what you consider quality, the magic and energy are still there, and thats the whole point behind taping live shows and trading those tapes.
Fuck yeah!!! Thanks SO much for posting this! I love most of what they did in the 70's but this is definitely one of my fave runes for sure & they're totally killing it here & to follow with Cornucopia? Amazing!!! Treat your life for what it's worth & live for every breath!!!! :-)

dude cholulaaa sauce or whatever the fuck, if you're so mature and shit why are you arguing and name calling on youtube? you're in your 40s and you're the one acting like a fucking kid.
haha you're a dick! how's the mid life crisis going? you must feel pretty bitter that you're 41 and haven't achieved anything in your life and that there isn't enough time to change it. but i bet your vast sabbath knowledge gets you alot of pussy, eh? do yourself a favour, get a haircut, burn the flairs, tear down that brown wallpaper and leave your bitching in the 70's, you should be happy that young people are still listening to the mighty sabbath!
In the early 1970's I used to see Bill Ward in my local pub, The Nags Head, in Malvern, England. At that time he used to have a house in Malvern. Had a chat with him at the bar once!
They had a recording studio not far away at Ridgeway Cross. The band used to call in at my mates petrol station.
They were an underground band in those days on the edge of society!
@TheDarkLordEthan I've seen them twice at Ozzfest. Trust me on this one, if the opportunity comes up, do not turn it down. For a bunch of old guys, they put on a damn good show!
@Lookup2Wakeup: Of course. You should have some taste and just listen to it to love it after forever :-) (repulo, age 34, fan since 1994, the NIB tribute album) By the way, this song is one of my secret favourites.
@Lookup2Wakeup Considering the total garbage with weak musicianship being peddled by the music industry nowadays, I can totally see young people going back to find the old stuff. I would if I was young.
Actually, there's a serious lack of real rock now. With the exception of a few bands here and there, most everything has turned into Lady Gaga or the amateurish slop of the Foo Fighters. Kids want some quality rock like Sabbath.
@tonusaitis I'm not a fan of the Foo Fighters, but its guitarist/vocalist and former Nirvana drummer, Dave Grohl, is a huge metalhead, whose project several years ago, Probot, included collaborations with members of Venom, Mercyful Fate, Celtic Frost, Trouble, Cathedral, Voivod, and other respectable metal acts. I've no doubt that he holds Black Sabbath in the highest regard, too.
@tonusaitis Not a big Foo Fighters fan either, but Dave Grohl is a freaking awesome drummer! Check him out in his band "Them Crooked Vultures"...he beats the drums like they just bitch slapped his mum! Not too many hit em harder and with more skill than he does and again...I'm not a Foo Fighters fan.

haha you're a dick! how's the mid life crisis going? you must feel pretty bitter that you're 41 and haven't achieved anything in your life and that there isn't enough time to change it. but i bet your vast sabbath knowledge gets you alot of pussy, eh? do yourself a favour, get a haircut, burn the flairs, tear down that brown wallpaper and leave your bitching in the 70's, you should be happy that young people are still listening to the mighty sabbath!

I am surprised to find that Sabbath is so popular amongst the younger generation.
Thats great!
