No. Only the Deluxe has the HUD port, so only the Deluxe can use it. It's a gimmick anyway. Once you learn the sounds, you don't need the HUD at all. Besides, it's really uncomfortable. most players stop using it after a couple games.
Nope. The circuit/programming just isn't in there. You'd have an easier time putting Deluxe guts into a TMB shell than trying to ADD HUD circuitry to a TMB. TMB already has special LEDs for Lock on and stuff just above the screen. If you really want those in your eye, you could pull them out and run some wires up to something like a HUD.
Personally, I'm just surprised it's that important to anyone.

nah. just do a few light coats, and mask of the lenses, dome, and screen and you should be fine. It's BEST to gut it and paint the empty shell, but that can be tricky. I know a lot of people who have just painted it and been fine.

In fact, I'm fairly certain that anyone seeing these vids has seen MUCH more offensive material already. But hey, if my video is the first time a kid watching hears a swear word, then I guess that's the way it is. :P

REALLY shows off the aspects of outdoor laser tag [OLT] (w/ Lazer Tag Teams Ops equipment in this case) and how a small group in a decent field has some seriously interesting play! I've got friends that have never done OLT and I've shown them this video and they have changed their mind about trying OLT because of this video. Greg -- expect one or two more players come start of 2008!!

For me, however, I prefer: range up to 1000' with no loss in accuracy; no pain; no mess; no ongoing expense for ammunition; no cheating; no heavy protection needed to prevent loss of eyesight or teeth; and more.
I have no moral or sportsmanship qualms with the TMB. I just prefer the Deluxe for most games. Unfortunately, the Deluxe is too short to be visible in the camera's frame. Without the tagger in the movie, it might as well just be handheld. So, when I want to do tagger-cam movies, I use the TMB.
