after installing the radio i knew everything was working fine since i completed the checkout sheet, he came in arguing and cursing he wants bby to pay for new speakers and he shouldnt have to pay for it to be installed b/c we wasted his time. i kept my cool b/c i knew what was wrong, i let him argue and curse till he got tired then i was like " excuse me, may i borrow the keys to the car" ....i then "centered" the fade and balance on the radio. well what do u know....the speakers magically work
lol i work at best buy as an autotech.i had a guy came in one day to have a deck install, he claims he can do it himself and been doing this stuff for many years, he just has no time.so i completed the install and sent him on his way. 1 hour later he comes back pissed off because he says his left side speakers dont work.
In the distant past, before Geek Squad was acquired by Best Buy, whenever someone came in with a problem so mind bogglingly stupid they just charged $100 so they wouldn't have to deal with them anymore.
Geek Squad still has quite a few quirky pricing, there's actually a SKU for violating the laws of space, time, and physics.
