Hey man, I don't know Tye but I was blessed to witness him minister. He came to World Harvest in Columbus, OH. Half of his concert was him ministering to the people. He was so on point I wish every young person was there to hear it. He even talked about people doing worldly dances in church as if God can't bless u to come up with a better spiritual dance (MY GOD) I love his ministry. No need to defind it, his ministry speaks for it self. Be Blessed.

But if you look at his dvds of him and his choir they do worldly dances in them. To the toofpick151 you are talking about to different things god gave david dance ,david didnt sing praises and then turn around and do some of the same dances that the world was doing, he did the dance the lord gave him , alot of people are becoming lazy, god will give you a dance if you seek after him you dont have to bring some stuff from the world or mtv,bet seek him and he will give a dance like no other.

Do you listen to gospel music? You know it was taken from worldly styles and just anointed right? Blues, jazz and some other things. Thats why to me it is difficult to judge. That is why Im asking the questions I ask. Alot of ppl who say the things you have at the same time cannot define what is the right dance to do, the right song to sing, etc.

Do you read your bible gospel music didnt start from jazz and blues, try reading the book of psalms it was written way before jazz was even thought of, also if you know your music you would know gospel started it all from sam cook to elvis they said they got there music from the church, try reading the bible instead of going off of other peoples words , light doesn't follow darkness, I not only listen to gospel i play drums and have played for two live recordings and im going my third.

My brother "Gospel" music as we know it (James Cleveland, Albertina Walker, Shirley Ceasar, etc) began with Tom Dorsey. Do your research. Before him, church music was known as hymns and camp meeting songs. My brother Im a lil well versed in the Word ;). tell me what is the difference in a 9 stroke roll in a shout beat, and a 9 stroke roll in a rock song? Did paradiddles began in the church? Aot of gospel drummers (prob even you) use them. Thats my point.

Drums has been around for years, what do you think they called some of the snare rolls back in the civil war, when they used the snare drum to keep the soldiers walking at the same pace american and the british used snares drums for formations and timing.

I listen to a lot of worship music ,william murphy, marette brown clark, bbwoc,kurt carr,john p kee, etc......... I have a lot of songs on the ipod to many to name them all, but this is just some of the history when it comes to drums, i hope i answered better this time.

That I know, just as drums were used by the Turkish armies to strike fear in their opponents way before that. My point is, same drum, used for different purposes. One for God and one for whoever they worshipped (idols). Its the 'purpose' that made the difference.

The bible says that there nothing new under the sun, just cause somebody put a name to it doesn't mean they made it up , for example there are videos of bishop mason who is the founder of the church of god in christ singing songs back in the early 1900's with men banging on pots and buckets

I mean David danced out his clothes, and at the day of Pentecost, a room of men spoke in tongues, yet ppl to this day dont think it take all that, and it was in the Word. type in "metallica type group" because this album sounds like metallica. i listened 2 metalica and trust they do sound like them. i knew something was wrong. look at their clothes & stuff, tye yells throw microphone, they start moshing, is this gospel music or what. this may have the message but are they not being conformed to this world (Romans 12 v2). This group is meant to be against hip-hop, RnB, rock music is a serious issue. I ask you nicely don't christianize satan's music & pleasure.

her name is Cache and she is the choreographer. she is on the mic at a lot of the events i have seen (7 total) not all of GA is at every event Battle Cry was one where everyone came out. Cache is actually one of the main voices you will hear on the CDs because she goes in the studio to do the voice overs before the final product comes out
