hcca orions are fucking crazy u can hit 139 with one 10 that is just insane

@xtremeroyal The box is tuned to 38hz kinda high. the box was 1.8 after displacement.

@doeboi579 I have a custom built sub box that is tuned to 32hz and the box is a little over 2 after displacement. Will a 10" orion sound well in that box? There is no hole cut so I can put pretty much any sub I want in it (that is 10-12")?

@xtremeroyal That sub will sound sick in that box with aroud 1500-2000 watts rms.

@blomsterkvinnan look at my newer videos i'm running an SMD 18". This thing will eat 10" orions all day. maybe two 15's or 4 10's would have chance but one ten no way.

does that 10 hit all the high bass or mainly low? i have a 15 in my truck but in the future i just might get me a ten or another 15 with a huge box in my truck

@travishbt ..in a 1.8 cubic ft. box it surprisingly hits all notes very well. even though the box is tuned to 37hertz.

well since you have had both would you say that the ten hits the higher bass better though or should i buy a different speaker if i do buy something else

well tuning of the box will determin weather it hit's low's well or likes to play higher frequencys . for low bass in a trunk get the FI or Orion 12'' or bigger depending on the room and watts you have .

the amps must not be very powerful if the single 10" sub is only doing 139's. i mean i was running 1,000rms on 2 shitty hifonics tens and did 139.5 with a charged battery and no electrical upgrades. I think you need some more juice to supply the amps to get them pushing more power =)
