As for stealth, I look at it as the US has been producing stealth since the early 80's and the f22 is going to have highly advanced stealth technology - better than its rivals because they are still trying to create their 1st stealth fighter. Tu-160 appeared almost at the same time as B1 and it was not a copy but answer on aggressive intentions of the imperialistic US. Negative!!! First flight of the Rockwell B-1A was in the late fall of 1974. It was cancelled by that asshat Jimmy the peanut farmer Carter in 1976, and resurrected as the B-1B by President Ronald Reagan. The Tu-160 is 1/3 again as large as the B-1 (Bone), is dramatically faster, larger payload, but doesn't have the range (reportedly) (MY ASS!) As an American I have to admit, I love the Tu-160, its what the Bone should have been!!!!!

Buran may have been a copy, but it could also be noted that the shuttle was the result of research that determined the optimal design for the shuttle for longevity, and structural integrity at re-entry. It wasnt a patented cool style shape you idiot, from an engineering standpoint, its the way a reusable vehicle with wings will look if it wants to survive multiple re-entries. Why did NASA copy the Soviet capsule idea, afterall they had it first?
