I am so sick of people quoting the bible on subjects like this. I am a Christian, I go to church weekly, I read my scriptures every day, and I pray at least once a day. With that said, I also live in the USA, a country that was formed on the idea of a separation of Church and State. I am not judging her. I am looking at statistics. I can look at all homosexuals admitted into the hospital I work in (I'm ER in Pasadena, CA) and many have histories of drug abuse, most have diseases, most par-take in self inflicted injuries, and the majority are depressed.

I am so sick of people quoting the bible on subjects like this. I am a Christian, I go to church weekly, I read my scriptures every day, and I pray at least once a day. With that said, I also live in the USA, a country that was formed on the idea of a separation of Church and State. You don't have to like it, but the ability for gay's to at least be recognized under a civil union should be a very basic right. Scripture should hold NO power over our legislature, like it or not.

I am not judging her. I am looking at statistics. I can look at all homosexuals admitted into the hospital I work in (I'm ER in Pasadena, CA) and many have histories of drug abuse, most have diseases, most par-take in self inflicted injuries, and the majority are depressed.

Most people do not have sex to procreate, hence why we have contraceptives. So if they aren't having sex to procreate, would it not stand to reason that they are doing it for pleasure? So, by your logic, since pleasure is the goal of having sex, and gay people find gay sex pleasurable, would that not make it natural?

The overall function of sex is procreation. Contraceptives aren't there simply for "pleasure" but also to prevent the transmission of diseases.
And forget the reason for having sex. Look at the issues homosexuals bring about: Promiscuity, transmission of diseases, low morale, destruction of family life, contribution to negative behavior, many condone drug/alcohol abuse.

Biologically, sex is a means of reproduction. We are attracted to the opposite sex to spread our genes. That doesn't meant that all sex has to lead to life, but it means that is the reason why we have a tendency to do it.
Homosexuality can NOT lead to reproduction and is thus is scientifically unnatural.
Lastly, even if it is natural, do it on your own. Why do we need to hear about it? Why protest?
