@centercity1 Dude OP? First of all, HT costs a lot of gas, secondly to actually destroy something you need multiple storms and storms need energy. Next, HT are fragile units, very easily killed and they don't have that much of a range. Then the weakest part of archon and HT: the EMP. 1 emp can render an entire squad of HTs useless. 1emp can drain all shields from an archon, keep in mind archon only have 10 HP. Also: 2 HTs is 100min 300gas. And protoss is gas heavy on all units, so it is balanced

@romanphoenix999 you must be joking, You can take out 25 untis with 2 properly placed storms. an emp only covers a 2x2 square radius and takes 100 energy or shield. it costs 75 energy for a ghost to cast an emp and 1.2 seconds, (that means once cast they are dead) not to mention that 9 out of 10 times its a miss, plus shields regen. there is a reason why ghost are not used anymore, they are too expensive and ineffective in almost all cases.

@centercity1 There is also a reason why colossus are preferred over HT. While in fact, if HTs were OP, ppl would just make mass gateway instead of robo facilities.

Also, storms can be dodged by an army pretty effective. Ghosts have cloak, ghosts can snipe, 1 ghost can destroy at least 1/4 of toss army when it's stacked (shields of half an army). Imagine what 2-3ghosts can do...

Yeah shields regen, so what. A smart player emps, then attacks with his army immediatly afterwards.

@romanphoenix999 3 ghosts cost 450min 450gas plus 150min 50 gas for Academy that's = 600 min and 500 gas, and with that they can only do 100 to shield damage on 2 ground squares X per ghost (I know the animation makes it looks like its a lot more but its actually really small) think about it like this, the emp (that takes more then 1 full second to cast) does 100 shied damage to 3 zelots, or 2 maybe 3 stalkers, or 1 immortal and 1 zelot. cloak = useless you realize it drains right and costs 25?

1 075 mins 350 gas / 2 => 537.5 min 175 gas with 1-2 ghosts. After that, you move in w your army and you can easily dominate toss army because it's weakened.

Force, you dont need to cancel the unit in the building to salvage it if the building dies. It automatically will return you full cost. WhiteRa new this and thats why he didnt pay any attention.
