  • Perfect speed =) dguvaza looks amazing. Who teach her? Rodoica?

  • Oturan Senseilerin arasında Züber SOYDAN ı gördüm sanki...

  • Hmm, on further investigation "Real Aikido" isn't certified by the Aikikai foundation. That would explain why so many of the techniques looked like Ju Jitsu. Still it must be effective since its used train bodyguards and police...

  • @utubesqueeze Many martial arts can be traced back to ancestral arts. In the Oriental arts, these go to Jujitsu and various forms of Kung Fu, along with Muay Thai, etc. Aikido is one of thesse that was adapted from Jujitsu techniques to require very little power or strength, as its creator was frail and weak for most of his life. This "Real Aikido" is nothing more than Jujitsu or Aikido in all practical applications. This is meant to take down an enemy quickly. This is not the way of harmony.

  • Superb leverage, movement, body awareness and her techniques were punchy+sharp enough to be Ju Jitsu! Well worthy of being a 3rd dan. I wonder what Aikido style she is. Looks like some Iwama variation.

  • Can't get enough of that randor ^^

  • Some peaople are really full of themselves!

Experts from all over the world spent their life developing and practicing these techniques, how could someone call them "fake" beforehand?

If you really want to know, go try it yourself.

  • The only problem with this video is his hands in the knife attacks. The guy didn't HAVE to commit, he could have slashed his hands without being at a disadvantage.

  • I can't stand with somebody said aikido doesn't work in an real fighting, I want to ask them in their opinion what is an real fighting ????? plz read more about aikido before critice aikido, if you don't show your stupid brain nobody want to say you are stupid

  • More like Daito ryu, that ain't aikido

  • I`m a woman, hear me roar... :D

    Svaka čast!

  • I feel that if all the teniques they do gets them to be faster and stronger then their appoinent then it will help in the long run. U dont want subjects to get hurt cause its just a demo. However if a real attack on the street came along then you would do just like the demo but go that extra step to break their asses. I hope the ones complaining get it now lol.

  • thats a n excellent skill...and a player must go with the attack or else he will end up with a broken or a dislocated joint which is something really bad..

  • Good demo's

  • pretty to watch, but not affective in real life. Try Bjj I've wiped the floor with every aikido master that I have gone against. I took aikido for a while, trust me, won't work.

  • Fantastic. I have the utmost respect for Ueshiba's system, but (as someone with a background in Chinese martial arts) I sometimes get the impression his disciples' disciples don't really get it. I'm glad to see that some real teaching, not to mention raw talent, survives.

  • where are the real aikido dojos that speak english?

  • грубо и неряшливо. много лишних движений.

  • Hi What branch of Aikido is this? We do all these techniques in Aikikai except the shoulder throw which I had already done in a pevious martial art. Not being critical of it - Great movement/ technique but different Aikido to what I learn at Aikikai!

  • my dream girle

  • I am still amazed!!! You did woman's Aikido proud!!! How many years of hard training before u reach this level???

  • @telpat 15 at least

  • Comment removed

  • Hi I am a police officer too. I only wish that I had been introduced to Aikido earlier. Prior to that I had to use TKD,Karate & some other hard arts to handle my suspects. These caused injuries & subsequent internal investigations which caused me great damage to my career. Use this with great skills & no injuries or damming bruises. Great great move!! Fantastic Uke!!! My respect!!!

  • Really fantastic moves. A whole lot of training & skills both Uke & Nage. If any think its "easy" to fake u dont understand the training involved. Use this on the street & its a one move fight cos the "Uke" on the street will not be this "Uke" who is well trained to react. Great Great video. My Respect!!!

  • kuchwa jak ona sie zajebfajnie porusza :D ja też trenuje aikido Yoshinkan w klubie BUGENKAN. jeszcze pare lat i też będe tak wymiatał :D

  • The last move was awesome!

  • Excellent! She is accurate, precise, controlled and demonstrates great timing. Almost hard to believe this is only a 3rd Dan exam...

  • No doubt she is very good... in whatever she's doing, but this has nothing to do with a real fight

Untill the other(s) helps you and doesn't resist, you can apply any technique you want!

  • Shit... I think i love you :)

  • this stuff is good dont get me wrong but ive yet to see aikido(by itself) applied against MMA-style fighters and not seem almost dominated, aikido has many good concepts that can be used at certain ranges also mixed into different arts, but these staged demos are very misleading on how combat-effective many of these techniques are, ie. girl most likely would have got a few strikes in , but then get overpowered in the end by an opponent who is really out to kill her...just saying...

    again good

  • Well, the trick is. You never use lethal force in Aikido. But. If someone wants to kill you. You end up wanting to kill them right back. Now imagine decking some guy to the hard pavement like she does on those mats. One wrong backfall for him. He has no skull. Then again, the trick is to truly understand the difference of being a passive martial art, to actually using it in combat.

  • very interesting and true points there...

always been a fan of Aikido but I've just heard from outsiders and practitioners alike that even compared to other martial arts aikido is difficult to truly get the timing and techniques to enough of a '2nd nature'level to be able to use it 'without-thought', in a 'real' fight

Nataly truly looks like (and has the credentials to be called!) one of those few who KNOWS how to apply techniques (yeah Kuno, def wouldnt want to get slammed onto pave. by her!)

  • once again another staged run in am gonna kill me aproach i want to see a 1 to 1 fight with aikido

  • buen trabajo nataly

  • love this video great job

  • lol I know guys who do the sound fx in my dojo too.

This chick is really good, too...

  • Great job! Thanks for sharing the video!!

  • women you really good i love you

  • perfect

  • The World's Most Dangerous Woman! Gotta love it.

  • after Emma Peel ! mais cette fille est géniale !

  • the guy makes funny noises.

  • Do you take Wing Chun because it's the only thing you can spell?

  • Sirieusly the most effectif MA on street is just k1 kickboxing or maybe even wrestling but the other are mostly just to remember btw aikido works on the street u just got to be aware and awarness is a skill that gets increased by practioning a MA just buy a gun and be cool but what if u get attacked and u dont got a gun... i advice u all to just go do Wing Chun

  • nah man your silly for the gun situation reference. once you get to that level in martial arts, chances are your too damn mellow and laid-back to get into a situation like that.

  • howcome every time i see these demonstrations, the attacker is always attempting to strike with a vertical chop? Dont most attackers throw a straight punch?

  • It's not a "chop." It's a representation of a downward knife strike to the head.

  • Its not a chop? shut up fool, its a chop.

  • my dan is number 1!

  • I believe this is effective only if she does not know what will the attacker do.

in demonstrations, the defender always know what type of attack that he will face but in street the defender will never know how the attacker will attack.

  • 1:47 through 2:06 is very impressive.

I would like to train with this person.

The crowd is disrespectful and should be ashamed.

  • effective ... but this ain't Aikido . This is something else

  • wonderful woman.

  • yes... she's really fast. acurates and over all use STRENHGT instead of the hip movement.. it might be calld real but noting to do whit aikido. aikido is to learn jujutsu whitout the need of brute force... so this might be calles real jujutsu. instead. and she know techniques but not how to properly aply them

  • if you are like a 3rd dan are u better then a 5th dan, then? or is it the oppisit, :P? plz msg me

  • Nataly's techniques are fantastic- and as far as being real- what is real? Ring fighting isn't real! You have a time limit with a referee to call the fight if you are knocked out or in trouble of being permanently injured- that's far from real-- if you want real go down to the worst part of your City at midnight and pick a fight with the biggest drugged up neanderthal you can find- I could have done without the cheering and cat calls though-very non-traditional.

  • You can't call it real when her partner is taking a fall for her even before contact is made. This is only a real demo. Multiple attacker don't assail someone in that fashion. Real aikido is a decent art, but it doesn't flow like this in reality.

  • i'd like to see these aikido masters enter the ring and really put their skills to the test and see if they can really do all this when it counted. LIKE REALLY

  • but...is this akido? strange style! good execution but the final part of the video is so confused! too much velocity and imprecision

  • MMA - Mixed Martial Arts

  • What styles it is, aikikai or yoshikan?

  • i love Nataly

  • Super izgleda, je li ovaj sparing sa dvojicom dogovoren, ili samo okvirno, tipa zna se napad a ona smišlja odbranu i kontru?

  • what does she do in 0.38? what is it called?

  • I´m in love.

  • I'm a Police oficer in my country and a real atack in the real life about my experience it's like somebody has SOAP in the skin when they run to much... My question is, do you can do this fake technics with some body has soap on the skin??????????... PLEASE BE REAL!!!!

  • Well , police officers that come to our trainings dont complain ;)

You have to have a lot of differant knowledge and to readjust it to your job . So this "fake" techniques work in my country

  • @stevengargoyle Hi I am also a police officer. Trust me this move is great BUT it come ONLY with many many years of training!! This Nage & Uke are very well advanced in training. Great Respect here ;-)

  • @stevengargoyle SOAP on the skin: do you arrest your criminals under the shower? At least your criminals are very clean.

  • @stevengargoyle I completely understand! I take Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and sometimes when I go to grapple with them, they are incredibly sweaty and it's like impossible to keep a lock, or hold on someone, and it's really annoying.

  • @stevengargoyle I completely understand! I take Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and sometimes when I go to grapple with them, they are incredibly sweaty and it's like impossible to keep a lock, or hold on someone, and it's really annoying.

PS. 3:42 = Angry Girlfriend submissino.

  • I dont do akido I do WC but a lot of people are slateing it.

the common remark is that the students are just folding or flipping conviently for their master.

    this is untrue.

the reason they appear to be taking a (dive)

is because they have been trainned to minamise the chance of a broken wrist or dislocated shoulder by going with the attack.

if they stood their ground like some of you say yo would all the force would go through your joint and (pop!)

  • @robjbray finally someone on this God forsaken Youtube that understands break falls!!! if you don't know how to fall properly, bones get snapped and all the wind will be knocked out of you. I took Judo and its the same essentially.

  • @robjbray all people who speak about compassion and love should cut the crap but also those who speak about brute power too i will simply quote Martin Luther King Jr. :"Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love." i can be nice to my friend not to someone who want to hurt me...

  • aikido is efective. and it works the way she shows in the video. BUT!!! there is a big problem. for her is imposible to make all of those technics against some one who opose resistance. because she is using her arms strength and speed. she need to realy feel teh flow slowly. abd with no strength.

  • It is not Aikido But she is good and prety Sexy.

  • Some times I feel the same way as AQUARIO07 it would be nice to see aikido or any martial art actually, applied in a real fight. I must say though for a demo this is pretty convincing one of the better ones i've ever seen. This girl is good,I doubt that she would be an easy target even by a determined attacker. You definatly get the feeling she could pull it off.

  • Cool video

Does the uke (attacker) ever come with something other than a forward stiff arm push?

  • awesome

  • 見ていて素晴らしいと感じる。動きが適切で無駄がなく、強さも十分。素晴らしいの一言です。

    流れが途切れることなく、技が彼女の心と体と完全に

    一体になっているのが気持ち良い。

  • very nice! ,form and application..everything !wow ! she pass that exam for sure ..mmhh but ..but just once I wanna a see an uke ,an outsider ,mean, vicious ,out to get the aikido man ..like for real !..no holds barrel, no mercy, a street hodlum , ..and watch it on video on you tube ..you know the kind of uke that will say : ok , Im gonna get you for real bud ! I'll try to hurt so badd! ..but you're gonna be soft to me in exchange ..sorry I guess I'm tired of watching the same stuff over and over

  • Good aikido, effective techniques, how long was the third dan examination?

only, by my point of view the gun disarm techniques are very difficult to apply, it doesn't implies physical training but phsycological shape, because having a cold fire gun press to the head could make your mink blank.

  • physical training and mental training are very closely linked... if you practice alot physically your mind can't help but be engaged

  • Aikido on my channel!!!

This video shows that aikido is effective!!

  • Nataly could flatten your stupid ass out in a half second Johnf85, no doubt in my mind.

  • give that guy an oscar!!!!!

  • the aikido wepons are very importants and ever must are tired to the flor

  • what you mean is that aikido weapons are sacred and they shouldn't be thrown to the floor

  • Last move of neutralizing kick is very awesome!

  • beautiful

  • I'm no dynamic aikidokia but give me a break. its preaty but whoo can aford to spin spin spin in the fight.

  • It is part of her grading, to try to avoid the attackers.

  • ur right bout the jab some of the time but all you need is them 2 commit to the punch

  • before seeing you I thought that tisier and seagal were the best I was wrong , You are the one with all my respect happy new year

    Sensei Saavedra

    Harajitsu Mexico

  • Excellent demonstration, nice lady master...poor husband!! lol

  • This is Real

  • sure it is you can always spin 30x in a real fight.. youre apponent will surely wait till you stop spinning.. hahhahahahah

  • aikido has compassion for the uke... i see none here therfore its not aikido... its ju-jutsu

  • You have very limited knowledge of Aikido. Learning where strikes belong in Aikido and demonstrating them IS proper Aikido. I don't see any harm or lack of compassion here. Uke is not being injured. If you do Aikido, do you not study and use atemi? If not, you aren't doing Aikido. O'Sensei said that Aikido without atemi is not Aikido.

  • Yes, BUT he say also: "AIKIDO without KI is not AIKIDO"...

Atemi is 99% of Aikido, but the problem is Atemi is not like to only punch or kick. If you make atemi before to take the intention of the attacker you are in the risk to became a Gaeshikawaza. If you make atemi when it´s not necessary you lost the heart of Aikido...

  • This chick owns! and yer it's Aikido - i dont no why so many people expect the techniques used in a martial situation to be the same as those practiced in the dojo - if anything this is more accurate than id have expected. PS loved the irimi nage variations.

  • Totally agree with u! She is just wholesome! And "Real Aikido", even the name sounds a little stupid, seems to be really "real" Aikido, not useless talks about love and peace!Of course such a great masters as Ueshiba was, are maybe able to fight without any agression, but i dont really think that is proper to keep thinking how to save ur "uke" in the moment when he tries to put the knife under ur ribbes!

  • Damn good! The gun disarm looks awesome and effective. I do not like Japanese style attacks, a street fighter will attack much differently, but I think she could deal with most! Rehersed I think = aticipated by the others, and I think it is a bit.

  • Very nice.

  • What I meant by it not being real aikido is that in my view it is far enough removed from what O'Sensei teached that I think it is better described as being inspired by his teachings rather than following them faithfully, but it may be that I'm blinded by the fact that the Uke doesn't roll with the techniques very much.

  • Very impressive.

  • she's got skillz, looks like aikido to me,I saw shumenuchi ikkyo,a few kotegaeshi, the randori did seem a bit odd though, sorta like the 3 stooges pacing the floor in circles

  • I watched it a couple of time and I do not see why people says it is not Aikido. I see a very smooth and fluid exchange of energies. Even randori looks pretty well done and I doubt it was rehearsed since it says it was a belt test. She has very good and fast movements which manage to anticipate very well Uke's (who I must say don't seem to wait too long to attack).

  • I agree, charyuop. I've been training different styles of aikido and MA's for twenty years, and what Nataly is doing looks like aikido to me. In fact, it looks like very good aikido in the budo tradition.

  • no se si esto es aikido a mi me parece un chiste , me gustaria saber si moveria a un uke q no le siga el movimiento

  • A bit too rehearsed is right.

  • I don't think the randori looked rehearsed, as MA demos go I think the opponents acted intentfully. What strikes me is that this is in fact not real aikido. It looks like a good MA, with influences from Judo and Aikido.

  • Have you been training in Aikido long enough to say you know what "in fact" is not Aikido? Do you know more than students of O'Sensei that teach Aikido that is very much like this? My sensei is a national shihan from Hombu and teaches us very martial applications like this. Stop calling your opinions fact.

  • I agree. I know Saotome Shihan in more than one occasion said that there is the need to bring back the martial part into Aikido, thing that in many forms of Aikido has been lost.

  • Please keep in mind that the title of this video "REAL Aikido" is the name of the Dojo and is not to imply that other Aikido is fake of less. This particular dojo concentrates on the martial aspects of Aikido, sort of like O'Sensei in his younger years when Hombu Dojo was referred to as Hell Dojo. Later O'Sensei's Aikido became softer and more flowing, but no less effective. These differing styles can be seen from students of his from different eras of Aikido.

  • I think its a little too rehearsed (no offense) but some of the moves as if 2 people were fighting you they wouldn't constantly move about in a circle or take turns attacking you even if there hurt. With the movements of someone trying to stab you would be much faster.

  • ive seen all ur fights and i have to say u fight like a samurai keep it up ir good : )

  • oh my god!!! this girl ownz!!

  • I have seen alot on aikido, but this one is worth watching again, again!
