Agree with milprufrock. I have always loved this movie. I have six favourite yet culturally and historically disparate films. However, despite their apparent differences, they all have two things in common: a memorable soundtrack and wonderful cinematography. Interestingly, only one is in colour. Anyway, fwiw, these are the others: The Grapes of Wrath, The Third Man, Vertigo, Letter from an Unknown Woman and The man who wasn't there.
Excellent version, but it lacked one thing....Hedy Lamarr.
