I thought this documentary was great. It reminds me of when I came here with my wife and two small kids. This country has been great to us and allowed my family to grow. We do get food stamps but as soon as I get a job I hope to get off of them. I now have three kids that are US citizens and I feel proud that I gave this to them, Thank you America and all of the generous people here. Viva Mexico!
There are always two sides to a story, and almost always 3 (yours, theirs, and the truth)... Just recommending again for people to rent this and look at it from a human rights perspective. There's a lot of scary and very real terror that comes with the stories of those featured in this film.

BS! I was denied entry into Mexico because I didn't have a passport with me. So I got one and returned the next year.
Further, very few of the illegals from first tried to obtain U.S. visas before entering it. And those who were denied were denied for legitimate reasons [felony records, etc.]. If they had respect for our laws, they'd have done what it took to get the visa first, even if it meant patiently waiting several years for it. Others do. And it's unfair to them to let illegals not do.
ever since 9/11 it's been extremely hard to get some sort of legal documentation for entry into the U.S. Why they can't wait in line like they're supposed to? Almost 10 yrs. ago I came into this country "LEGALLY." It took about 8 years for my father to get all my family our Green-Cards. Spent over 30 thousand dollars to achieve it (for 5 people). My oldest sister was denied hers (If a paret is getting you the card, it must be granted before you turn21). She married and has kids, but we are too far away. It hurts. Family bonds are one of the things that force these people to break the law. If the pursuit of happines is a crime, then I guess they are.

Almost 10 yrs. ago I came into this country "LEGALLY." It took about 8 years for my father to get all my family our Green-Cards. Spent over 30 thousand dollars to achieve it (for 5 people). My oldest sister was denied hers (If a paret is getting you the card, it must be granted before you turn21). She married and has kids, but we are too far away. It hurts. Family bonds are one of the things that force these people to break the law. If the pursuit of happines is a crime, then I guess they are.

their gov't can't provide jobs for them bc their not banking much compared to American companies in their country! As a result, they come to the U.S. for a better life. IT is all too sad... particularly b/c they ARE breaking the law and then demanding rights... a criminal does not deserve to be "free" yet, there are some greated moral issues here.... such as the utilitarian idea that this planet belongs to us all... its a hard topic, to say the very least...

P.S. NO HUMAN BEING IS ILLEGAL!!! They may be undocumented... but when people say "Illegal" they're immediately criminalized for having done nothing other than try to lead a better life. But.. I actually am in the thick of what's happening and am not ignorant. I know illegal aliens, have spent time with them and yes, love them with the love of Christ. they are human beings trying to survive. Their children are now learning to follow Christ and the parents may come to a relationship with Christ. They are in my community, and in my life. I've been to Mexico and see the poverty. It's an issue of Christ and showing his compassion. Worldly things are not of the value that people are

I DO read the bible and not the fun parts. Read Jeremiah, there's a lot of talk about judgment over how the rich treat the poor. The "American Jesus" and "White God" isn't there in the prophets. He's not there in any of scripture. We are to adhere to the law of the land when it doesn't conflict with the moral laws of love and compassion. We've got 2 options, get a passport and go to their home countries and improve their living conditions or help them here.
