I was pursued by the pernicious L Ron Hubbard and his cronies for years and years! Only that I left Ireland, moved around several different countries and changed my name did I manage to shake them off eventually. I was very young, about 21 at the time when I first was introduced to them. Twelve years later, their propaganda was still showing up at my mother's house.
The theme I see in people who get involved with Scientology want MORE of everything. While the true religions of the world like Hinduism, Buddhism, etc teach that desire for something outside of oneself is what leads people astray & encourages it's followers to let go of wanting more. Scientology teaches the opposite and encourages desire to it's most destructive level.
@mrbadguysan They target white-collar people who have more money than brains. Many of my father's friends, who were software engineers that made $100K+/year were also taken in by this cult.

When you have videos in parts like this, it's good to have the videos as responses to eachother. That way, it's easier to navigate from one to the next. Just a sugestion.
WIKILEAK DOT ORG is where you can download many secret Scientology documentations for free. I read the super power rundown last night and it is insane. It also includes the 100 child security questions for 6-12 year olds.
Firsa let me state I think Scamatology is nothing but the deluded ravings of a drug addict; but more than a scam then Scamatology.

I enjoy your videos as they are very educational but using the snakeoil salesman to talk about other fraudsters is a bit hypocritical.
Yeah, chiropractors are quacks, and that has something to do with why they're susceptible to Hubbard's hogwash. They already practice a pseudo-scientific trade, and they often believe their own blather. Not much of a jump then to believing someone else's blather.
I guess your handlers didn't explain to you that those of us who aren't in the nut-cult don't just fold up and cringe when you toss off remarks like "epic moron", even if you put it in all caps, and add three exclamation points.

You know, I remember a clambot from several years ago, who used to hang out on alt.religion.scientology, parading his insanity and proclaiming that he was defeating everyone he argued with. Was that you, or do all you clambots practice that silly habit?
Humans have always looked up at the skys and wondered, why am I here? And the funny thing is that the more that we learn about our reality, the more questions arise. It's like a little kid who continually asks his parents 'but why?' For ever answer the parent gives the kid can still ask 'but why?' and this is the main reason that people seek out a higher power. God, allah, L. Ron. whoever it is that the person believes in they believe in them for the same reason: the hope of gaining answers
well that might be the first good thing Texas has done. I've always said, there are three groups you don't mess with: Blacks, Jews, ...and now I guess Texas! By no means I am comparing the civil rights struggle of Jewish people and Black people to Texas. Well... anyways my point is, Scientology hasn't yet really messed with Jews or African Americans, but if they do, they are going down!
- this hasn't been passed yet, it has been put forward that their tax exemption be revoked. - as other posters on various forums have said, that alone is a major step forward.
I can personally attest that that is not true. I was having back spasms which were increasing over the course of (IIRC; been a few years now) a couple of weeks. One adjustment made by a chiropractor _instantly_ stopped them and they never returned.
There certainly may be quacks in the field, but that's not what you said.
Chiropractic is definitely not a fraud. It has helped me quite a bit. I know for a fact, however that my chiropractor is into scientology. He use's LRH and has all his books for sale. It's quite a shame to see some bright and brilliant person so led astray.
Agree. I have gone to a Chiropracter twice, for several visits each instance, and it helped my back greatly. Once after being rear-ended and the second when someone accidentally injured me during a fall. I think most people connect them with ambulance-chasers, and some people may abuse that for insurance scams but I think they are legit. I have not had to return to chiro for more than 11 years.
It always amazes me how intelligent people can be fooled by the cult. Do they think it is actually a church just because it says "church" of scientology? Are they so naive and gullible?
It has nothing whatsoever to do with Christianity, or religion. It is a cult, whatever it calls itself. Everyone should know about this cult by now, how dangerous and destructive it is, and that it uses mind control and brainwashing. They threaten, harass, slander and blackmail. They will ruin you if they can.
I agree to a point. Church does not automatically make Christianity. A church is a place of worship. Scientology isn't a religion, they do not worship anything really other than L. Ron like a God. At best, Scientology can be described as a philosophy on life. But really, Scientology is whole heartedly a cult and can not even get close to those other definitions.
On that first paragraph there pleiades, that is a common occurence among all religions*. Their founders all tell you that god exists because he says he exists....and their followers believe it, few to no questions asked, usually the latter.
*Yes, I know Scientology is a cult, but for so long as it's labeled a religion, people who fall into its trap will treat it as one, and Xenu is as real and as important to them as any god of any religion.
"There's always another ring. You never reach the point where you finish. There's always something else that keeps coming up. Like once you finish one service, then they promote another service to you."
It sounds like he's talking about World of Warcraft.
If you haven't figured out that all organized 'religions' are basically a different version of all the same scam, then you are stupid. Any person with the slightest wits should pick up on the oppressive control the organization radiates. And if you where foolish enough not to look into the group before joining then you are even dumber. People are just too willing to be stupid in the first place, for the sake of some miraculous benefit.
the difference between organised religion and scientology is that organised religion does not force you to pay to learn about the faith you are practicing, and allow you to speak freely about your faith. Scientology forces you to pay to learn about what you believe, and when you find out what the faith is about, you're kept silenced.
Apparently you are completely ignorant of most religions. Ever hear of "mormon"? They have a mandatory tithe and are as much concerned about censorship of their religion as scientology.
- most if not all religions have tithes and always have. the problem is that tithes, in my opinoin, were based on churches (as an example) having no funding other than charity. however today, most church bodies have some form of income earning business(es). - the point about Mormons, there is alot of videos about their beliefs on YouTube. as well as their, interesting (if thats the right word) history.
- as far as spirituality. it is a personal decision. the question isn't wheather its' right, but rather, is it right for me and am i right for it. - the debate of trying to deny someone their faith, to just be right, can have dire consequences, and vice versa (ie: the choice to not have spirituality). so again, it is a personal decision. - moral and code of conduct are part of my religious understanding. denied of that i would see the world in a different light an without consequence.
Want to make money? Start a Cult then brain wash people and take all there money then when they question it tell them its your Religion and "What are there crimes?" LOL :}
maybe we should start treating the words "cult" and "religion" as one and the same, coz at it's core the only thing that separates them is their size ... as for me i see no reason why a bullshit-story (no matter how good) should be relieved of taxes just because it claims the impossible over the small prize of your sanity >> bs is bs and should also be treated like it, without exemption (!)
hopefully the hard work of people mark and others will pay off one day
"maybe we should start treating the words "cult" and "religion" as one and the same, coz at it's core the only thing that separates them is their size "
False. Please look up these words and remedy your ignorance.
Emotion directed at me for pointing out your ignorance is irrelevant and will be ignored.
co-founders of the cult of scientology are tax and probate attorneys. one was a former assistant to the commissioner of the IRS. there should be an internal investigation of the IRS
most religion are solidly based way before the concept of government and taxes where created. All NEW religion should be taxed. because most of the new ones are scams.
actually, I'm not sure any religion still practiced today predates taxation. Keep in mind that Joseph and Mary were supposedly travelling to Bethlehem to register for a new tax, after all.
Most religions aren't trying to MAKE money and don't charge a fee. Most religions only gather donations for charities and maybe fixing up their church(Ie. Buying new instruments for the church or better chairs.)
Judaism, Christianity, Islam, even all the Asian religions came about AFTER the formation of cities and countries, so I'm pretty sure there were Political Leaders and taxes.
And by "most of the new ones" do you mean post Christian Reformation? Or even post 1800? (post 1800 would be a good cut-off)
There is no reason to ban it as a personal philosophy, but it isn't a religion, and does not qualify or deserve tax exempt status.

But he was making $5000extra each month. Why change? He must have seen the potential to do more. Its there ...

Hubbard's great innovation was coming up with a way to make his insanity contagious.

Firsa let me state I think Scamatology is nothing but the deluded ravings of a drug addict; but more than a scam then Scamatology.
They pop bones in my spine and I am all better as long as I come in for an adjustment every so often? Am I out ethic if I think its idiotic that my spine controls my bladder? I enjoy your videos as they are very educational but using the snakeoil salesman to talk about other fraudsters is a bit hypocritical.
gubnillec 3 years ago 2
Yeah, chiropractors are quacks, and that has something to do with why they're susceptible to Hubbard's hogwash. They already practice a pseudo-scientific trade, and they often believe their own blather. Not much of a jump then to believing someone else's blather.

it blows my mind how "intelligent" people can just quit using their neurones when they hear such words as God, Christ, Jehovah, or Allah.
pepero366 3 years ago 3

Chiropractice is as big a fraud as Scientology.
NotSoOldHippy 3 years ago
"Chiropractice is as big a fraud as Scientology."
I can personally attest that that is not true. I was having back spasms which were increasing over the course of (IIRC; been a few years now) a couple of weeks. One adjustment made by a chiropractor _instantly_ stopped them and they never returned.
There certainly may be quacks in the field, but that's not what you said.
11Jamie11 2 years ago 3
Chiropractic is definitely not a fraud. It has helped me quite a bit. I know for a fact, however that my chiropractor is into scientology. He use's LRH and has all his books for sale. It's quite a shame to see some bright and brilliant person so led astray.
derrike50 2 years ago 2
I have not had to return to chiro for more than 11 years.
silbitnuoc 2 years ago
It always amazes me how intelligent people can be fooled by the cult. Do they think it is actually a church just because it says "church" of scientology? Are they so naive and gullible?
It has nothing whatsoever to do with Christianity, or religion. It is a cult, whatever it calls itself. Everyone should know about this cult by now, how dangerous and destructive it is, and that it uses mind control and brainwashing. They threaten, harass, slander and blackmail. They will ruin you if they can.
pleiades10 3 years ago
I agree to a point. Church does not automatically make Christianity. A church is a place of worship. Scientology isn't a religion, they do not worship anything really other than L. Ron like a God. At best, Scientology can be described as a philosophy on life. But really, Scientology is whole heartedly a cult and can not even get close to those other definitions.
fatalrob0t 3 years ago 2
Scientology worships money.
TheT113 3 years ago 7
On that first paragraph there pleiades, that is a common occurence among all religions*. Their founders all tell you that god exists because he says he exists....and their followers believe it, few to no questions asked, usually the latter.
*Yes, I know Scientology is a cult, but for so long as it's labeled a religion, people who fall into its trap will treat it as one, and Xenu is as real and as important to them as any god of any religion.

I really get sick of hearing this line. THEY DON'T GIVE YOU THE STUPID SCI-FI CRAP THE FIRST TIME YOU WALK IN THE DOOR.
jxhensley 3 years ago 5
If you haven't figured out that all organized 'religions' are basically a different version of all the same scam, then you are stupid. Any person with the slightest wits should pick up on the oppressive control the organization radiates. And if you where foolish enough not to look into the group before joining then you are even dumber. People are just too willing to be stupid in the first place, for the sake of some miraculous benefit.
BayerLexan 3 years ago
the difference between organised religion and scientology is that organised religion does not force you to pay to learn about the faith you are practicing, and allow you to speak freely about your faith. Scientology forces you to pay to learn about what you believe, and when you find out what the faith is about, you're kept silenced.
agent00x 3 years ago
Apparently you are completely ignorant of most religions. Ever hear of "mormon"? They have a mandatory tithe and are as much concerned about censorship of their religion as scientology.
BayerLexan 3 years ago
lol
Learn what your talking about before you post please, it saves you from looking like an idiot.
JBTS9 3 years ago
Are you refuting my claim that mormons are have similar practices to scientologist? I'm unsure if your 'lol' comment means you agree with me, or not.
BayerLexan 3 years ago
- most if not all religions have tithes and always have. the problem is that tithes, in my opinoin, were based on churches (as an example) having no funding other than charity. however today, most church bodies have some form of income earning business(es). - the point about Mormons, there is alot of videos about their beliefs on YouTube. as well as their, interesting (if thats the right word) history.
soMEauSSiEBEaN 3 years ago 2
- as far as spirituality. it is a personal decision. the question isn't wheather its' right, but rather, is it right for me and am i right for it. - the debate of trying to deny someone their faith, to just be right, can have dire consequences, and vice versa (ie: the choice to not have spirituality). so again, it is a personal decision. - moral and code of conduct are part of my religious understanding. denied of that i would see the world in a different light an without consequence.

maybe we should start treating the words "cult" and "religion" as one and the same, coz at it's core the only thing that separates them is their size ... as for me i see no reason why a bullshit-story (no matter how good) should be relieved of taxes just because it claims the impossible over the small prize of your sanity >> bs is bs and should also be treated like it, without exemption (!)
hopefully the hard work of people mark and others will pay off one day

ah..no.
most religion are solidly based way before the concept of government and taxes where created. All NEW religion should be taxed. because most of the new ones are scams.
chisau 3 years ago
actually, I'm not sure any religion still practiced today predates taxation. Keep in mind that Joseph and Mary were supposedly travelling to Bethlehem to register for a new tax, after all.
whois1957 3 years ago 2
Most religions aren't trying to MAKE money and don't charge a fee. Most religions only gather donations for charities and maybe fixing up their church(Ie. Buying new instruments for the church or better chairs.)
BlackKingX 3 years ago
most? Not any that I can think of.
