this marked the end of my childhood too. Why did they have to get rid of Misty. She was Ash's girlfriend and the 3 originals were the best. Their the ones that started Pokemon. Pokemon went downhill after this.

I really enjoyed pokemon, only downpoint is that somehow pikachu goes back to like lvl1 at the start of each series. because wouldn't he be like lvl 200 odd lol over the normal pokemon level but then he gets beaten by a lvl 5 snivy in the new series

I'm 15 and I'm still watching Pokemon since I was 2 and that is when the first series came out. Although I admit Misty was a great character I never really liked her and I don't think she is the BEST girl just because she's the original. In my opinion, all of them are good. I really miss Misty. I saw this episode already but it makes we remember the good old times with MISTY!!! In some other episode Misty come out but then releases Togepi after it evlolved... :(. After that... I watched pokemon Chronicles. I saw what Misty did at her gym for a while.

I really really really wish they make a Season when all the characters come back again and meet their old friends they left behind.( I bet team rocket still might be try to steal pokemon.) I remember those old times.

On the final episode- I hope to see Ash's father (who is a trainer on his own journey) and becomes a Pokemon Master. When that is finished, Ash wins a huge tournament. and he sees his Mom with Misty in the stands cheering for him, and Misty runs out onto the floor and they kiss, and admit their love for each other and everyone is cheering them.

During the credits- a family photo that shows Ash and Misty years later, having married, with their child going on their own journey with Pikachu.

The time is moving forward, and this is made apparent in the Pokemon school episode when the girl student asks ash how long he has been a trainer and he replied by saying 2 months. It's illogical to assume he hasn't aged at all because when time moves forward you simply don't just stay the same age. Those are just my thoughts; not looking for an argument.

Someone gets too old to watch the show, some kid takes their place, get it? They realize this and since there is no reason to have any progression whatsoever, they just do it over again.This way they never need to make it end and it can go on and on as long as new pokemon are produced. And in hoenn I remember him saying he was 10.

THe old pokemon always at least had very emotional and truely understanding parts :D it brought people to tears, the good music actually puts smiles on people's faces and everything. It shows the true meaning of what friendship is and how it should be.
