Bought one a little over a month ago. It's great for city AND country. Rear-wheel drive. It's not exactly my AWD I traded in for it (cash for clunkers - yay!), but it survives rural Indiana (the test will be when it snows).

Absolutely love it. Also, it may be a tiny car, but it sits you high off the ground, so you feel like you're in a big car, but you still get over 30 mpg.

Did a test drive last week: surprisingly quiet, very smooth comfortable ride, good sound system, mediocre acceleration, very roomy inside, cargo area okay but not huge.

Wow! I never thought a nissan could sound so quiet like that. My Quest rides louder than this. Of course I bought it used as is. I would laugh if they made the 2010 Quest look like a blown up Cube. Like I was saying, this really seems to be a great value. I consider Nissan as the "Mercedes" of the Japanese market.

I think the more upmarket you go the more quieter it is . I had a Sentra that was pretty loud as far as road noise. I then upgraded to an Altima which was a little better. I currently drive a Maxima and its is whisper quiet until I give it full throttle..

Technically the Cube was out in Japan before the Scion XB or Honda Element were even on the drawing board, so keep on living in your misinformed world.
