The hero is a great phone but it's processor is a little to weak for my taste. If you only want to do one thing at a time the hero will be fine but if you plan to use a lot of widgets and use multiple apps the processor will limit the usability.

No matter what phone configuration you have, you can only have up to 11 pages of apps, but if you still have space left on the phone even after you fill 11 pages, you can still install apps and launch them through Spotlight. They just wont show up on the homescreen.
