  • That's a real camaro! Not like the 2012

  • such a nice car I don't know why youtube has to have so many hater on here it's not like he's trying to say it's a #'s matching Yenko. personally I would rather have something like this vs. a real Yenko...you can drive this car, rip this car all day long (if you want), and never really damage the value of the car like you would with an original Yenko. BTW I like the stance of that car what type of suspension did it have and what are the tire/wheel sizes?

  • HOLY. SHIT. i just came.

  • You people are stupid. READ THE DESCRIPTION. This is clearly a restoration vehicle, built to replicate a Yenko Camaro..not to BE a Yenko. RS is, was, and likely always will be nothing more than an appearance package..so yes an SS can be an RS. And for you tools trying to say a Yenko Camaro can't be an SS "because it's a Yenko" need to realize Don Yenko purchased Camaro SS's for his dealership and THEN put the 427 in them...that's all.

  • @TheBulldawg4life - In 1969, Don Yenko ordered 199 COPO Camaro's from Chevrolet with the high performance L-72 427, 450 horsepower engines installed right on the Chevrolet factory production lines. The 1969 Yenko Chevelle was the same deal. They were stock, high performance vehicles and would leave a Camaro SS in the dust.

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 I was going off of the 1967 year because his car is the 67..but ya, he got some COPO's in 69 with power brakes, 4.10 gears (god almighty..), front stabilizer, and a high performance radiator. Also 450 horsepower is a complete joke and we all know it lol.

  • @TheBulldawg4life - 1969 Yenko Camaro's also came with special heat treated axle shafts to avert breakage from the massive power of the L-72 427, which was factory rated at 425 horsepower. However, when Don Yenko dyno tested the engine, he found it actually generated 450 horsepower. I know, as I used to own one.

  • @TheBulldawg4life Thank you for so eloquently writing what people pretending to know something without all the facts needed to hear.

  • @emotorclassics Not a problem...I get just as annoyed with it as you lol. I may not have a 67, but my 2010 sure is an SS/RS lol

  • how is it an RS/SS yenko Makes no sense. WHy? Because the only difference betweem an ss and z/28 ois that the SS has a diff Suspension and engine. Well the Difference Between a Yenko and a SS Is badging and a 427 big block. Or wait. Do you ahev the SS Suspension with a 427 yenko engine and RS Body kit?

  • @zanrath12345 - In 1967 and 1968, Don Yenko Chevrolet would install the 427 Corvette engine in any Camaro that a customer desired. Whether it was an SS, or RS, or an SS with the RS appearance package made no difference. A different engine and suspension is a huge difference between two cars. In 1969, the Yenko Camaro came with the high performance L-72 427/450 horsepower engine right from Chevrolet, special ordered. Yenko Chevrolet sold 199 of them.

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 OK so It was an SS/RS before It was Sent to Yenko. gotcha

  • @zanrath12345 RS/SS *

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 good post nice seeing someone on here with knowledge and doesn't hate on nice cars regardless of they are original or cloned! I think some of the 68 models were ordered through COPO with the upgraded suspension, 140mph speedo, and a few other odds and ends but not with the 427 Yenko still installed that, chevrolet didn't start that until the 69 model.

  • I would have my house For Sale to if i had that car.

  • i am helping my dad "restore"?? one and they r pretty cool cars i like them :D

  • Dude, SHUT THE FUCK UP with the long description.

  • Hey,I got one of them,,427-4 speed,,ain`t nuthin like puttin yer foot in it...

  • Why resto-mod a Yenko(unless its not actually a Yenko just modified and designed to look like one)

  • I dont like the height and the gaps in the wheel wells. Other than that it's a Beautiful car. There is one more thing I dont like about it... It's not my car!

  • Damn I love old school muscle cars! I am workin with an 03 WRX right now and loving it but you just got to love the old school V8's, nothing better.

  • it sounds to me like you should have a Rev Limiter before u blow that engine sky-high....maybe some Cragar S/S Wheels & some Mickey Thompson Sportsman DOT Approved Street Slicks...then you'd be unstopable....

  • i love so many SO MANY classic cars of different brands id love to have, wud take any for the right price to build that classic hot rod,a 72 ford torino,70ss Chevelle LS6,pontiac? hmmm a 89 turbo Trans am, or any GTO and classic CUDA, for the mopar scene, or a BB Dart,a nice Buick GS,olds 442.AMX, if i could have any ANY car.any classic Muscle car with all? I wanna Build a nice 67-69 Camaro Rs-ss flip headlight MARRO with a 572 Crate motor,

  • my dad has a very old version with about 1800 hourse power but then again he put over 60 grand int the engine alone

  • Now thats a nice sounding car right there...

  • i jizzed myself wen i heard that bad chevy idle wen u pulled into the drive way!

  • sweet ass car

  • That Camaro sounds great!

  • its like a naked super model...only better in every way.

  • i love yenko camaro !

  • do u live in hazleton?

  • nice car

  • Nice car! Sounds badass!

  • I love the car, but hate the wheels. Sorry, maybe I'm old school, but "big pimpin" doesn't belong on a muscle car.

  • Pissed off chevy power right there

  • Beautiful Bow Tie!!

  • Who stole the rims from the Escalade in the Ghetto???

  • omfg ... was it good for you lol ... gotta change my pants now ....

  • car is sweet, is it for sale

  • why dont you suck your mom's dick. Goof

  • chevy is still a chevy. A piece of shit always have been always will be. Too bad they never shut there doors . That would have been the best thing for consumers.

  • man i love chevys i think anybody would pick that car anywhere anytime instead a mustang ford sucks not bad cars but still sucks

  • mr fordsaresuperior i belive your full of sh*t, all camaros are is just the what a ford hopes to be one day. sorry to inform you of this but a mustang is just a chick car and i hope you and barbie have a great life together in your 15 second car

  • Nice and clean

  • Camaro's are just a copy of a mustang coupe, they look a lot alike in the rear end minus the tail lights... Not saying identical but you cant deny they got the design from a mustang, The 69 camaro front is alright looking though... But a 1967 mustang fastback or a 70 cuda are way better than any camaro.. copo are cool camaros they're a fuckup car from the factory.

  • first of all it's not even a yenko resto it's an rs/ss and secondly camaro did to put the 427 in 1967 it was a L-72 427 (7.0 L) V8. so kburroghs08 I think you need to get your facts str8 you HEEEEAAARD!

  • @thaddboo

There were no 1967-68 Camaro's equipped with a 427 from the factory. Biggest engine available was a 396, but people like Don Yenko swapped in the 427 at their dealerships. The 427 was available in the 1969 model year, though the car had to be special ordered. And if you knew anything about Yenko Camaros you would know that they kept the SS badging and had no special striping until the '69 model year. Sounds like you're the one who needs to get your facts straight.

  • @thaddboo

I just read the comment you were replying to and For the most part, you're right. I thought you were saying they came with 427s from the factory. My bad.

  • Needs to be lowered about 1 1/2 inches.

  • lol who the fuck still plays runescape?

  • hey bro yenko didnt start puttin 427s in camaros until 1969 and it was an ss/sc not rs/ss. get ur facts straight bro

  • It's a nice car, yes. But it's not really a Yenko.

  • Great sounding and looking car! Can't wait til i'm done with mine!

  • theres no such thing as a yenko rs/ss an rs ss is a diff modle so is the yenko get ur facts strt!!

  • The existence of this car certainly means it exists. Philosophers call it empiricism, attorneys call it empirical evidence.

Since we are offering each other advice, I recommend an English class.

  • straight drive?

  • @emotorclassics: ROFL. I like the Camaro, though. Yenko ftw.

  • @emotorclassics man!!! you should put up an exhaust video. if i had that car, i would put my bed next to it and fall asleep to the sound of it idling.

  • @emotorclassics sorry but there is no such car. its either a yenko or an rs/ss, not both!

  • @yenko67 Actually all 67 Yenko's started out as SS396 cars. If it happened to also be a RS, so be it.

  • @yenko67 i think the both of you chevy camaro guys should just take a lesson from the HEMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!....f those dime a dozen camaros.u can build one from the ground up at your local part store. cant do that with a MOPAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its perfect! I love it

  • what kind of exhaust and headers do you have in it??

  • @whomikejones6218, while I don't know for sure, there are quite a few street rods that have a similar exhaust note that are running Flowmasters. Personally it sounds too "tinny" for me, but they are definately popular mufflers.

  • thanks for the info

  • god i want a 67 yenko rs/ss camaro, there speedomet reads 200 instead of 120 mph and there tachometer read 8000 instead of 6500. there really rare, but im looking for one and there speedo and tacho. nice car 5/5 :)

  • i just came like 15 times... the ultimate muscle car... bowtie forever.

  • Dealership i think, they raced up a few. Now there`s not many left and they`re worth quite a bit.

  • what does yenko actually mean?

    is it an engine?

  • There was a man, like Carol Shelby for the mustang, named Don Yenko who specificly suped up camaros and had a custom paint design for the car. You will mostly hear of the '69 yenko camaro, he usually did 1969's.

  • Im sorry, he didnt just do camaro he also did other chevy cars such as the nova.

  • and chevelle

  • gota love the 67's

  • they have the shelby mustang and they have a yenko camaro, i'll pick the yenko camaro any day there more rare and there better lookin especially with the rs/ss option. that engine sounds badass, it probaly has a 427 engine and the cool lookin yenko hood..sweet car man

  • I came.

  • What a rare car.

  • vrooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... jaajajja xD

  • This is one of the nicest V8 sounds i've ever heard!

    What a beast!

keep that car in a good shape but use it, don't let it become like an item you are afraid to use because of what it's worth, so use it.

  • It's just beautiful.

  • i think i just creamed my jeans

  • omg my dad had one of these when he was in the army got it for a couple grand. little did he know it would be worth A TON of money now a days lol. now i have a 2000 Z28 and will NEVER sell it.

  • That is a true work or art.

  • All I can say is "Woah!" Don't F#$% with that car!

  • You are going to have to buy me a new key board!!! Mines to sticky to used now!!!

  • Lol why would someone look at a V8 car with obviously huge cams and asked it's gas mileage?

You do not buy a V8 for gas mileage.

  • theres only 1 cam in a car

  • Too bad thats not a real Yenko.

  • what a stupid comment

  • get the original rally wheels.

  • Damn i want one of these. It'll really put those guys down the street in place who think theyre all that in there 68 mustang.

  • I agree- nothing worse than pimpin' wheels on a vintage resto. This one not as bad as those Foose abortions on TV though.

  • ...I didn't know you could literally become sick with envy... I don't feel so well... Can I be pathetic and call you a prick bastard LOL It might be somewhat of a cure :-)

  • omg you can feel the power from that monster

  • Yenko Super Cars, I wish some car dealer owner learned something from Don Yenko, he simply got the best to sell to the consumer. Little did he know of his legacy with the Camaro Super Yenko, great car. Dont listen to jelous people dissing the car out of sheer envy. Great car.
