Guys check this out =P 1. Olimar (imba Range, speed and grab) 2. Lucas (fast, nice smashs+grab snake) 3. Wolf (2 fast+2 furious double attacks) 4. R.O.B. (uses attacks in 1 milisecond) 5. Samus (shot and smash to the perfect mix) 6. Toon Link (extremely fast, even high dmg) 7. Marth (nice range and extreme air smashs) 8. Ike (5'ooo km sword lengh =P, kaboum!) 9. Zelde (not shiek!<- was imba in sbmelee not here, fire burst rocks+magic =P) 10. Pikatchu (lightning from all sides :O )
U should try creatin this now... I still think ur Olimar vid was THE BEST... I only checked my 4 favorite characters so I wouldn't know about anyone except... Falco, Marth, Ike, and Olimar...

id like to say that falco is kinda like the...apprentice to fox with a difference in power, accuracy, and shooting. not a clone lol thats way too harsh but i cant even master falco nao in ssbb like i could in ssbm. falco is great if you cant use fox properly if you cant handle his speed.
Falco was nerfed so he was more balanced and not as cheap as in melee. He forgot one major thing about Falco's D-air though, yes, it has a smaller hitbox, but you have to hit him with the initial spin to spike. If you hit him after you have already started the move, it won't spike.
After using falco for a week, I can say that he has really become more than what he was in melee. He has a lot of potential, more so than in the last iteration. Shine is useful for edgeguarding, mindgames, spacing, and dthrow finishing up to 50%.

Im a Fox guy and i think you said his up A is less powerful. To me it seems so because in melee if you could get it right its hits almost as well as a fully charged smash. his jump neutralf A is less powerful as well, because i remember sending people flying by just hitting them up and then jumping and neutral a. It wasnt that great to inflict damage but it was a good KO move at higher percentages.
Seems to me that Falco's reflector moves is there just to inflict a little extra damag.
It seems that they have traded some of fox's characteristics. He no longer fast falls, but his fire fox has SLIGHTLY less range. His neutral air has lost KO potential but his down smash looks stronger from the vid. And so on.

1 thing that you might want to add to the descritpion or something, when Falco uses his shine and kicks it, it strengthins the projectile a little bit. We teseted it with samaus's beam.

The tier list is a list of characters arranged in groups known as tiers with the purpose to show on average how good a character is. In Melee, there were five tiers- Top, High, Middle, Lower, Bottom. There are also distinctions inside a tier (for instance, Fox is on average better than Falco, so his name comes before Falco's).
infil, is falcos down air a meteor smash sometimes? because in another video, i saw it being used and instead of spiking, it was weak and did multiple hits like fox's. do u have to hit with the tip of it or something or the middle of it to se it as a spike?
Meteor smashes and spikes are two different things. A meteor smash is a specific move that sends the someone straight down, but can be meteor cancelled (with maybe a jump or an up+b). A spike, however is a regular move that just happens to send someone straight down, so getting out of that relies on damage, not how fast you can press jump.
Has Falco been changed enough to no longer be considered a clone? Luigi has, Lucas's moves are similar but mostly different to Ness, Wolf is not a clone, but Ganondorf and Toon Link are still practically clones.

I'm no pro with Falco. The mechanics of Brawl are different and I wasn't used to controlling him. Though I'm glad some people are discussing ways to use him (uses for the shine, etc) instead of just saying "wow u suck with falco".
If that's all you have to say, go somewhere else.
He's basically doing it out of habit. From what I've seen there's less lag between the moves so it's not as big a deal. The technique never really made sense in the context of the game controls.

Shine actually seems to be more of a defensive/camping move now (for Falco). Short Hop Double Laser --> Shine. If the opponent jumps, they get hit by the lasers, and if they stay on the ground, the get hit by the shine. Seems like a nice retreat option; maybe it'll work for approaches, even.

It wasn't the computer. It was his friend who was doing something other than what he asked, hence the confusion. Pay more attention before you make an ass of yourself.
falco changed, but he's not nerfed. I'm excited by his moveset, a lot of his moves do cutting damage now, and that shine is now a good move interrupter. Can't wait!

btw the falco throw's lasers don't always work, if you have higher percentage like 120+ the lazers won't hit, maybe like 1 or 2 hit

Neutral A = More effective at racking than Fox.
Down Throw can chain.
I generally like both characters, but I tend to stick with Falco more than Fox because I rely on spiking.

my key diffs for fox would be:
1. much slower, just in terms of attacking and movement. attack delay seems shorter though.
2.down smash is much stronger, air forward a is much more useful. back a stronger, but req more timing.
3.overall less damage and knockback, but that means more chain potential.
4. air up a and forward smash got weaker.
5. the shine stuns now (if you ever got hit by a red shell reflected 5 times you know what i mean)
6.drill kick is more useful,blasters can do 0 damage

On 9:27 Wolf's damage % is on where it would say CP above his head. I wonder if it appears in the rest of the game or just in training mode.

I'm no pro with Falco. The mechanics of Brawl are different and I wasn't used to controlling him. Though I'm glad some people are discussing ways to use him (uses for the shine, etc) instead of just saying "wow u suck with falco".

No, there's no l-canceling. It's just the lag from most aerials are cut down so much it's almost like an auto-l-cancel.

He's basically doing it out of habit. From what I've seen there's less lag between the moves so it's not as big a deal. The technique never really made sense in the context of the game controls.

Shine actually seems to be more of a defensive/camping move now (for Falco). Short Hop Double Laser --> Shine. If the opponent jumps, they get hit by the lasers, and if they stay on the ground, the get hit by the shine. Seems like a nice retreat option; maybe it'll work for approaches, even.

im disappointed with falco. he was mymain inmelee cause of his powerful side smash that had good range, speed, good jump, and good recovery. now hes a slow power character. i quess ill go with sonic.

A drill kick, followed by a down-b. Fox's shield is also known as "shine", it was arguably deadliest and most diverse move in melee.

falco changed, but he's not nerfed. I'm excited by his moveset, a lot of his moves do cutting damage now, and that shine is now a good move interrupter. Can't wait!
