Captain, great advise man, but you forgot the most effective treatment.Vinegar man, Vinegar! the vinegar will extract the poison from the skin and will reduce pain quicker than any antihistamine...just adding to your great video:-)

and YES, there is a stinger, i got stung last night and i took part of the stinger out with my fingernails after i squeezed the skin around it as if it was a pimple. i say part bec. it looks like there is something in there.

half my hand is swollen and hard, it is burning like crazy and itching and i can't make a fist. so maybe i squeezed more venom in it or didn't get the whole thing out.

i got stung about 10 minutes ago, i felt heat first then pain, then it swelled. no stinger was left because i saw it on the wasp after i stomped it. He forgot to add Copenhagen Long cut to the list of things that make it feel better.

Wow sorry to say you are dumb Wasp do not leave stingers they can sting you over and over again! Honey Bees leave stingers then die get it right and for you other people that think a wasp left a stinger no it was a honey bee sorry you cant tell the difference! if you don't believe me go to school for 4 years to learn about bugs. or Google it!

Regardless of the barb, Wasps DO leave stingers. I was stung twice yesterday by the same 'mother' - my husband pulled the stinger out of my neck!

can you use caneston cream and i randomly got stung just beside the anal crack and wasps don't leave there stingers behind offer -wise they'd be like a bee and its gut will fly out

I broke into a rash all over and couldn't breathe. Now I carry an Epipen everywhere I go.

He isn't really right.. Wasps don't leave their stingers in because they don't have a barbed stinger, bee's leave theirs in because they have a barb..

You have to go to the doctor or emergency room, so they can remove it for you.

I'm allergic to bees and have to go to the ER even after I use the Epi-pen.

I hate bees.
