Leno could have preserved his "legacy" (and i use that term loosely) by retiring from television while he was still on top of the ratings. Instead, he chose a ill-advised second act to his hosting career, made it worse by accepting NBC's offer to push Conan into the background again, and now Jay will forever be remembered as an asshole who pushed his colleague and supposed friend under a train.
