@max536drago the mechanics pretty much the same dude. bursting takes half primers rounded up in BBCS2 ex: Ragna has 5 primers, green burst, has 2 primers remaining.

There are also more normals that have anti air properties, so you'll be using barrier in the air more if the opponent is on the ground.

or

B C D

A

I use the latter. Then there's taunt off to the side. The other buttons are unmapped.

@opop123 If your trying to take it all in at once it does seem that way, but if you spend enough time with the game it all becomes apparent and logical quickly. This game is really good don't let the learning curve scare you away :)

@hola4adola Most decent fighting games dont have you lose unless you make mistakes, not too much exceptional about that, though every game has a few stupid instances where that isnt quite the case, like autocorrecting reversals in SF4, or noel's 2D in BB, or whatever. The thing some people fail to realize is that different games have different "standards" so to speak, like stronger mixup, damage through meter being higher, pressure being different, etc.

@Necrolic555 This is untrue. The stratagy in halo is a subtle very apparent part of the game. As any good game should have. An obvious representation of stratagy takes away from the core gameplay of the casual audience. A subtle one allows casual gamers to play unhindered, and a more hardcore audience to play more effectively. If the game has tournament by MLG, I doubt that it is just a simple game with no depth.

This is informative and a well-done video, but I shouldn't have to turn on my computer and search the internet to find out the essential mechanics of a fighting game that comes with a "manual". It's worrying how pitiful these once collector's items have become. I've heard complaints that they waste of paper, but instead of making them worth the material, publishers just take more away. The BlazBlue manual was even more useless than Ubisoft's, and that's something!
