Kris winning was great. Not only because it was well deserved, but also because it basically spit in the face of the producers of the show, who had initially tried to sweep him under the rug.

I'm a massive Adam fan - hence the youtube name :) but I love Kris too.

His voice is just really nice to hear, it makes you smile. And he's this great, genuine nice guy ....

with Adam its exciting and your appreciating the unique vocals and his general fabulous awesome-ness but Kris has his own understated awesome-ness. He wan't appreciated by the judges and even though he isn't massive - he's an artist.

kris is really great. he totally deserved being a singer...although adam, even if he lost, was the best singer in season 8. the thing here is, kris and adam are different in many ways. kris is soft, and sweet when singing. adam gets into a role and believes hes a total rockstar, and i got annoyed by his screams on idol lol. anyway i think adam shouldve won...nothing against kris..but adam is one of best after freddie mercury. even if theyre gay and think theyre divas..theyre good

I would love to sing this song. Kris Allen really inspires me vocally. He knows how to style a song. Incredible range!! Dude has pipes here, and it was his first Top 36 performance. Wow! Glad someone has finally uploaded his songs from Season 8 last year (2009). A regular college kid just going to school, who would've thought this strong Christian and worship leader (of New Life Church in Little Rock, AK) would've became the American Idol?
