I was born with a cleft lip and palate. I have had it repaired many times. It looks wonderful and im very happy that I get to live life at the fullest like everyone else. :)

once again, glad to be a canadian- everyone bitches about our system, but it works.... i am sorry for those of you who are stuck in the HMO system - i will say that most cleft affected kids are above average in intelligence....

I feel the same way, I am 34, still havent had all my surgeries because I am not a millionair and since I am an American, my country only helps foreigners and children who can't afford this, NOT ADULTS. It sure has ruined my life. Of course, no one wants to talk about the real feelings.
