  • @TheHandyGoddess do u has a boyfriend?

  • done with this.i use burnt umber and pink (my wall is magenta)..turned out great n my wall thanks mygoddess...next is my daughters room but got problem the color of her room is skyblue and i was thinking to do a faux paint can u suggest what color should i use to make the skyblue not so dull?or ragpaint it n some color?pls help...thanks

  • @maryannesteiner Congratualtions on the success. I know you're in for great things in your other daughters room too. If the walls are sky blue and you want some punch to them you can do several things. If you look at my "Before and After" DVD on fauxfun .com there is a glazing technqiue and a rag whipping technqiue that would both be great. It all depends on your taste. Let me know how it turns out!

  • wow very helpful video! however would this still work if you have a dark wall and adding a lighter shade for the paint? im planning to do this during the holidays and im not sure how this would turn out... thanks!

  • @pOckoChi Sure it would work but you will have to paint the design with a few coats. I would actually start by painting the design with a white then the color you want if it's a real dark basecoat.

  • i love your tutorial..! you make it seem so easy..i've got a kinda red wall and want to paint some branches leaves n birds over..but m really confused about what kind of paint to choose for it..help me..!

  • @shr5feb Just use the same kind of paint that your wall is painted with. Latex wall paint, you can even buy smaller quantities now as samples paint colors. have fun and let me know how it turns out!

  • you are great...thank u so much for responding...i will send you as soon as im done...take care and more power...

  • @fnazr Thank so saying so!

  • Handy advice from the Handy Goddess. Where were you when my little sister decorated her room with indelible markers?

  • @TroublesomeJames Oh how funny. I would like to see her creation.

  • @TheHandyGoddess Her handywork took place almost forty years ago and it was nowhere near the level of work done by you and the young lady in the video. My poor mother nearly fainted at the sight of it.

  • Awesome look thanks for the ideas

  • @sdakka I'm glad it's helpful Thanks for watching
