Well it's hard to tell because there were 3 ex guitarists all within the same time span pretty much before Jaxon took over in 2004.

Chizad - 1995-2002

Wesstyle - 1995-2003

Sonny Mayo - 2002-2003

I would think when he says ex-guitarist he would mean the most recent so it's between Wes and Sonny. But he said the love triangle went on for a long time so it's probably Wesstyle. That's a good way of looking at it. Also Bubba said he talked about it last time so maybe he said it back then?
