I really do want to know why this band couldn't survive and take over the fuckin' world while Nickelback became a permanent pain in the balls. Big Wreck owned, and it's extremely depressing that these guys didn't get what they deserved.

@SDCDIABLO I dont compare them. Yes Ian wrote all 3 albums, but all 3 are different. Thornley's 1st album was a lot more hard rock than Big Wreck's albums. All 3 are incredible

@SDCDIABLO No idea, those Thornley albums were terrible. THere is something about a band dynamic that you can't replace.... So many examples of that in music. I know Thornley did most of the writing but it;s just like the band The Tea Party.... you need the band man.

He and my sales manager who is a big fan always talk about it. When he found out I was a fan he told me "hey ya know his brother is in here every so often" Blew my mind.

Use to go and see these guys when I was 18-19, they could really rock.  It's nice to see Ian doing well with Thornley. Ian is argueably the greatest Canadian guitar player still playing. Both him, and Gordy Johnson are phenomenal. If you get a chance I seriously recommend going to a live performance.

I couldn't agree more. I haven't read into it, but i really looked into it, but why not! I honestly like every single one of their songs, both on their first album, and their second one (which no one even knows about. Was just as good)

I don't, however, like Thornleys new music. Too cheezy.
