  • thank you

  • I'm sure Redken loves the fact that Color Fusion is being used as an example to help people box color there hair.

  • um, what?

  • i have dark brown/black hair and i want to go lighter but i do not want orange or red untertones. i want my colour to be light brown with cool undertones. which colour do you suggest i buy ?

  • I seriously zoned out in the first 30 secs

  • This makes it WAY more complicated than it actually is O.o

  • If u go higher, u need to prelight hair (unless you are already a level 7 or up)...eventually, you need to consider the underneath pigment color of your target shade...and then, neutralize it, with its opposite colour of the spectrum..Regards Red.

  • noooo...i wanna know what color suites my skin tone dumbass >.<

  • this is horrible misinformation.

she absolutely ignored the fact that you cannot choose a level 8 and end up a level 8 from a 6!

  • how about buy some shit hair dye from pharma plus and look at the circles that show what colour blonde light brown dark brown and black hair turns into wen u dye with that colour. Shabam!

  • It makes sense, theres ust a lot more to hair coloring deep down then we think there would be :l

  • this is not make sense

  • wtf.... you make no sence

  • You almost now color . The remaining color at a level 8 is yellow-orange, NOT orange which is a level 7. Your info is not exact ..

  • I have salon colored hair. I think it is a 8n,but I am not sure.I also have blonde highlights. It is time for me to color my hair and I am trying to save money and color it myself. How can I be sure I am doing the same color. Shopuld a beauty supply store be able to help me? Someone else on the internet said I need a 20 volume developer. What does that mean? Also, at the salon she left my colr on about 25-30 minutes. Should I do the same at home. Thank you!

  • @srsmith212 You need to know what products your stylist was using. Most of them now have a time limit so keeping a product on too long is just a waste of time. If you really want to color your own hair and have never done it before you can always start with a toner, which will wash out and is less harsh than a permanent color. I do know that the farther you go from your natural hair color, the harder it is to change. So if you are dark brown and are now blonde, stay with a salon.

  • ... i dont get it

  • I have black hair and i want pure white. what do i do?

  • wear a white wig.

  • just bleach the hell out of it

  • @XXBodybuilderXX Go to sallys beauty supply and get color fix, it will strip the black completely out of your hair leaving you with a brassy color, work down from that

  • This video got right to the point with great information. This is exactly what women / people who dye their hair need to know. Extremely helpful. Thanks!!!

  • i have black hair, n i wanted to get pure blonde streaks...

wat brand n wat shade should i get....

or will it work with bleaching only??

can u guide me step by step..

  • this is very helpful!!

  • is it? i was totally lost

  • same

  • thank you so much

  • box color is always ashey and fades to brass. can't tell you how many girls come into my salon with green-brassy hair cuz they did it in the kitchen sink!! and the boxes vary by developer levels so you couldn't get the same color twice. go to a professional!! our years of experience cannot compare to a $3 box of color!

  • i used $3 color and it turned out great

  • hair dye vids r always for girls --

  • Amelia, I have medium brown hair (with reddish undertones) and I am trying to be a #7 shade but would like to make sure that I don't pick a dye that will bring out the red undertones in my hair, so should I go for a 7C (cool) or a 7N (natural)? I know I should definitely stay away from a 7R (red) or a 7G (gold) or even a 7W (warm) am I correct? Basically my question is: what letter totally cuts out RED? Thanks!

  • @offtomilan Ash cuts out red.

  • color is so hard to understand!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have light brown hair, sort of dirty blonde-ish. I want to dye it an auburn-y, dark reddish like Emily Browning's (I'm unsure on the shade but I'm convinced it's auburn) I've had blonde/auburn highlights before and it looked gorgeous but if it will be all of my hair, it won't look silly or stupid, would it? I mean, it's practically my dream to have red hair. Yeah I'm a Hair & Beauty expert rofllmao!!!

  • em I have red hair a similar shade to Miranda from Sex and the City so where would I be on the level chart? It only seems to have browns and blondes on it. Just a bit confused.

  • i WANT SOMEONE TO MAKE A VIDEO ON HAIR DYE STYLES!!!! i have a very very dark black hair, and i am thinking of dying my hair with white streeks

  • I dont know who taught you to formulate color but you are way off ! Why would you ever put a Redken GB on natural level 6 and you want to be a level 8 warm , you would be screaming orange !!! You should use Neutral or Even violet ash becasue violet has warm in it also. The underlying pigment that you should be concerned about is at the desired level !!

  • Ok so i have like a dark golden brown right now(supposebly).. its not my natural one.

    i have died it a lot,different colors.

But this one that i did (dark golden brown)

the roots are kind of red/brown just like lighter than all of my other hair and i need help!

how do i get like the same color all over.??

  • corrective color sucks, dude, sorry. don't put anything else through your ends, nothing will take that out except bleach. rule 1: color does not lift color

+so color the roots darker to match the ends, without pulling it through,

+or bleach the ends and cancel the underlying pigment at the level you want it.

    +beat bet-go to a stylist

  • my hair is light brown, and I want to semi permanent dark red, will it stay on for long?

  • hey i seriously need some help

my hair is all natural right now its a dark brown n i was thinking of changing it to this.. well its the name of the box / color

its from loreal Couleur Experte 5.1 truffle

do u think my hair would grab the color on the first try or do i need to do something else?

btw my hair is shoulder length n thick

PLEASE HELPP!!! I NEED UR ADVICE!!

  • if it's lighter, use a lemon on your hair to make it lighter, then put the color on :P

  • lolz litteraly use a lemon ?

  • yes, really use a lemon

  • how can i color my hair at home from 5 to 9 ?

  • 5 (light brown) to 9 (lighest blonde) is a big jump. You would have to bleach it. I'd recommend the salon.

  • when i formulate color, i always look at the underlying pigment at the desired level, not the working level, is that wrong? thanks for the video.

  • You are formulating correctly ! The underlying pigment you need to cancel out is at the desired level. example: Level 9 is yellow so you would lift with a violet ash !

  • Great! I have seen many videos but yours is one of the best!

  • Very helpul! Thanks for sharing!

  • Very helpful and informative! Thank you!

  • Very informative, thanks.
