What does it matter what genre Blink 182 is in? The fact that they can create hit after hit after hit song and create music that connects to millions of people on a personal level is fucking amazing. Technical ability does not mean you have people will relate to your music. Tom is not THAT bad of a guitarist and his songs/vocals/lyrics/melodies are absolutely brilliant. Blink 182 is one of my favorite bands. This is coming from someone who took 6 years of guitar lessons from Chris Broderick.
