I'm tempted to get this phone for it looks and is good (review wise) and as a caterer the business functions will be handy but on ebay I can only buy it from USA and am wondering if it's unlocked over there will it work with a British (or European) SIM card?
Thanks in advance.
PS - Will the features on this phone still likely work on a British or European SIM card too or just in America?
not to sound sarcastic, but it doesn't take a lot for a screen to be bigger than that on the blackberry curve. the curve's screen is quite small. i did a side by side comparison with this device, and its screen is the exact same size as the one on the palm treo phones. its a decent size
I've been interested in this phone for al ong time and i have been looking for a detailed review. I've seen some good reviews but you did a great job bro. Thx again
I have the samsung instinct. and I love the little vibration whenever I touch it.
It isnt really a touch screen, its just pressure sensitive, and the vibrations assure you that you tapped it hard enough for it to recognize it. how hard can tapping be, you say? Ive seen tonnes of videos with people complaining about the touch sensitivity. What better way to know that your always doing it right then having a little vibration.
i've had this phone for a month and love it. all the setting referenced are changeable. my first step was to disable the vibration with each screen tap, next step was to speed up the finger mouse. I am still swtiching between finger mouse and 4-way nav. I like the 4 way nav for windows basic functionality (today screen, messaging, calendar, mobile office) but prefer finger mouse for browser and my custom written application. the samsung saga is similar but for verizon network people.
You can enable the optical mouse from the today screen by holding down FN and then pressing the N button. You can disable it that way as well. check the FN button settings for more.
its somewhere under settings...but i've seen a video that proves that u can shorten or lengthen the vibration time, as long as toggling it on or off....also i gotta question. i'm selling my current phone to my friend and im' getting a new phone this weekend. i've heard that new phones are coming out like the incite, which have a touchscreen and run windows mobile 6.1, but will that phone have wi-fi and when will it come out. Finally, i want to know if i should wait for some more phone to come out
please help which phone impression or epix? please get back to me. message preferrabley

i phone is a smart phone.. just because id doesn't have windows mobile doesn't mean its not
Ghestto 2 years ago
It's not a smartphone, it's a fact not an opinion. It doesn't allow third party downloads.

what do u think the app store is.. its like a mixture of 3rd and 2nd party downloads..

hey does the Samsung Epix have AIM and is it the AIM free???
thanks
thonytheazn 3 years ago
if you have unlimited texting on your phone then yes.
and/or if you use your wi-fi to access aim express on the internet explorer or opera browser.
either way would allow you to access the use of aim for free.

Go to start-settings-sounds¬ifications- and then on the bottom go to vibrations and turn it off
Longx412 3 years ago
Found it, thanks. The vibration is still too long for my liking, but at least I can turn it off. Some sort of haptic "click" would have been nicer.
mobileburn 3 years ago
i like the way it looks. but to me it looks like some black barrys. it even look like one when you useing it.
howaboutiy 3 years ago
but u can turn the vibration off cant you?
superwizdummm 3 years ago
you can toggle the vibration to be on or off, and you can change how long you want the vibration to last...its not hard either...
pokingpenguin 3 years ago
I have not seen a setting for that for the display. Where is it?
