I have the S8, and after driving BMWs and Porsches and a number of other "fast cars" I will say that the S8 is bar none the best car I've had. Huge back seats. Comfortable interior. And it's low key enough to keep the cops *not* looking at me. And that v10, btw, mind blowing fast.

A typical managers company car is an Audi A4 2.0 or an A6 2.0 TDI / 2.4 FSI.

In Denmark we have a 25% tax on anything. On cars there's also a 180% tax and an additional tax depending on how environmental the car is.

I prefer the image of the A8 over the S-Class and 7-Series. Audis are what Benzes used to be - understated and rare.

The back end, however, looks like a Japanes car and the A8 is badly in need of an update, not to mention a massive marketing campaign replete with product placement.

Here in Germany, many people don't like Audi's strong uniformity. Especially at the front, A4, A6 and A8 look quite similar and from a certain distance it is hard to tell which model is going to overtake you in a few seconds. ;) Personally, I like the designs. Mercedes is quite the opposite today even if you take just a brief glimpse at their models. Harsh contrasts between C-, E-, and S-class with the C being my favourite.

R8 has a small fuel tank and a really small boot... plus is a hard ride.. the M3 yes sits 4 adults, is great to drive and all that but still not as practical as the Audi... plus it has M3 written all over it.... is very flashy...

if you think it right you would buy the S8 and just take it to MTM and ask for the RS6 extreme tuning... making the 5.2 V10 engine run from 450 bhp to a proper 730 bhp.

I'd like a car to have both the characteristics and I think the S8 fits the bill percectly with a slight subtlity. The front grill does make it look quite aggressive and due to its size, vehicles in front would most certainly get out of the way. The S8 is for people who don't like to be flashy and look driving something of subtle class.

I have sat in an Armoured S8 before and i can tell you only a LEXUS LS 600 or Bentley gives you such luxury + Sport capabilities.

Moving on, it takes a while to get used to this car and i am more of a XJ/Phaeton/LS600hL person when it comes to Limos. But the S8 is powerful and discreet. Some people like being discreet yet enjoying luxury. So the A8 and S8 suit them.

Audis are always playing safe in terms of looks. It's not too boxy yet not too slick. They seem to be the only one in the competition to have the traditional shape of a sedan. Most of its competitors have change to coupe like body style or if not, at least a sleek design.
