It's amazing how one simple moment and a few cutscenes can make you turn from wanting to strangle a character to thinking of him as the most heroic and tragic character in the game. But the second Bannon volunteered to stay, such a transformation occurred.

Capt Bannon.. Well he was a complete mess thoughout the whole game. He realise it and try to set everything right.

Even Col Sawyer who despise him so much also decide to took a pity on him. Ironically Sawyer blame himself for getting him killed.

Although i feel he doesnt deserve any medal for this. But i feel morally he atone for his sins.

One of the most heroic battles I have ever seen in any game, and even more bcs Bannon was just human, not any kind of super heroe with high moral, in fact he was at most full of failures, yet he did great and was a true kickass in the end.

Seriously, that scene of him and his crew in his Abrams rolling and keep fighting ammount explosions artillery salvos and surrounded by sheer numbers of enemies attacking them was epic.

@kanenash Because of what Captain Bannon did in the game, by voluntarily sacrificing himself for the mission, he should have (hopefully he actually is in the in game universe) the Congressional Medal of Honor. Seriously, he deserves it for the sacrifice he made.

Anyone from Warhammer Black Library would be great, just dont allow C.S. Goto or DeCandido, not after what they did with Dawn of War and Tiberium Wars, I dont want soviets armed with lasers and US army using leopard tanks.
