@2002j30a1 Veyron is real engineering. Not some Honda civic with a coffee can exhaust tip from walmart. I drive a 425 hp 1991 VW Corrado G60. 11.2 in the quarter and an S4 B5 for bad weather. Also I have a little over 15k into my Corrado plus 7k for the car for a grand total of 22k and im not running 8's like you promised.

@cody227 cuz you drive a vw. they are expensive and really not that fast without alot of internal mods to handle alot of boost. ill admit 25k was a bit exaggerated, however under 50k with a car included has been done in 8s before. if you want under 9's in any car be prepared to drop money. and the veyron is impractical engineering. 10 rads? god knows how many valves. and dude it has its own climate controlled bubble to park it in. cuz a stock MS3 will outsalom a veyron and i am not convinced.

its not $5mil to make each and every veyron. its 5,000,000 on average to make the first 100 veyrons, taking into account the start up and RnD cost. (wikipedia: "Thats the total cost of the entire veyron project divided by the number of veyrons at that time, 2007".). when more veyrons are produced, the total loss decreases. If you calculate, Bugatti actually makes a small profit out of each veyron.

Bugatti's great I wouldn't compare their history, prestige or racing history to Ferrari's. Bugatti made a few legendary cars from the 20's to the 60's. they didn't make anotha car until 1992 (the EB110), which was a great car. EB110 held the top speed record for a yr until the Jag XJ220. Veyron's arguably better but Ferrari has waymo history. The CCX's r great cars2 man so don't discredit Koenigs totaly. They do lie about bein able to beat the Veyrons speed but they r great on the track w/a wing

Weight isn't too relative to top speed. It is, but funnily enough, it isn't.

The F1 weighs half the Veyron and has 2/3 of its BHP, but still is only a little slower. And the Veyron is AWD, so that's how it does it in 2.46, but the Aero will pull ahead after launching.
