Me and my dad finally got ours (production unit).. we havent got to ride it hard yet.. but the thing rides like a dream LOL the suspension is AWESOME :D I would highly recommend getting one of these bad boys ;)
Someone mentioned below that the suspension took a beating.
I don't have to see it to confirm it. Their setup is pre-runner style & either they're running a heavy DOM tubing tower mount or not. I'd say not yet, but this is "pre-production." They'll need DOM to hold that suspension. Yamaha used to have little more than tin foil & would tear so easy... I have hope!
Dude I rode this at Mudcreek, where they have the Mudnationals, there is nothing like it on 4 wheels. It mase my Razr feel like a go-cart. Its awesome,Im dropping my Razr 900 asap for the Wildcat 1000.
@Bamabrute85 Current word is that the stock RZR is faster in a drag race but the RZR will NEVER reach the speeds on rough ground that the Wildcat can reach, so the fact that the RZR is a little faster is moot. The cat would pass it on rough ground negating the RZR's slight power advantage. As soon as Cat drops a Z1 Turbo in this the RZR has no recourse.
@SCROGY " As soon as Cat dops in a Turbo " You can't go saying stuff like that. That's obvious lol. And if it's slower in a drag race but better in on rough terrain that still doesnt negate the fact that the RZR is faster in a drag race. Sorry if I sound like an ass. I personally don't even like the RZR. Just feel like some people are afraid to admit it.
@Bamabrute85 These things are going to be on rough ground 95% of the time and the Cat is faster there because of it's suspension. The RZR could be faster than a Corvette ZR1 on flat ground and it wouldn't matter if it had the suspension of an ox cart. And you know that since this is the first year, Cat is going to improve the power (again not that it really needs improving). This is Cat they always strive to build the fastest sleds. You know they will want to build the fastest SXS.
@Bamabrute85 Besides every magazine or legit tester that has ridden this thing so far says the same thing: "It is on a WHOLE other level compared to other SXS's"
@Bamabrute85 At this point it appears it doesn't matter because as soon as there's some rough ground under them the Wildcat does blow it away. I would REALLY like to see the old 1000 triple two stroke in this thing with fuel injection.
The video states there are "50mm throttle bodies" but there is in fact only one 50mm throttle body. I am torn between purchasing a RZR XP this Christimas or waiting and getting the Wildcat. A big factor for me is power. I've heard Arctic Cat lacks some bottom end power. If you have driven the Wildcat I would love to hear an honest opionon about the power compared to the RZR XP. Thanks.

Plain and simple question for you. Is it faster than a RZR 900xp or 1000 Commander?

@SCROGY I hope they do up the HP and make it blow the RZR away.
