But it looks awesome, and it would fail free roaming, think of all the free roaming superhero games: Superman, Spiderman3, Incredible Hulk- All rubbish. They're trying something new, and I think it will be better this way.

au contraire, the spiderman games were pretty popular (mostly 2), incredible hulk: ultimate destruction (not the new hulk game) was a great free-roamer. I think if it was more story oriented than those games, but still at least some free-roam it would be great. but it has to be real dark, like you would imagine in like a rainy gotham. plus can you imagine just being able to like call the batmobile and batplane and getting from place to place with a batgrapple? it would be sick. im kinda pissed.

Butt, it's often hard to include more of a story based game in such an open setting, and things quickly get repetetive. Hulk and Spiderman games were good for the first few days, then I started to get a strong sense of Deja vu. But in this game, they're going to feature an RPG-esque levelling up system, and alot of detective work has to be used in order to progess, which to me sounds great. Including that in an open world would be hard to achieve.

Yeah but hopefully now it won't get repetetive will lame graphics and a 1 metre draw distance. They can focus on refining the textures and graphics, the AI, the combat, and more importantly, the story.
