eine wichtige frage habe ich !, wenn das spiel raus kommt, wird man es auf steam binden müssen oder auf uplay ? konto ? oder wird das die herkömliche methode sein (DVD einlegen und los gehts) ? ich würds gerne über steam machen (lieber als aufs UPlay rauf knallen, aber am besten wäre es auf die herkömliche weise. PS: wird es irgen ein Vorbestell Bonus ? oder irgend eine Edition mit extra inhalt ?

Can anybody answer me this question: it's Far Cry 3 or Farcry 3, everybody writes Far Cry and the game trophies for far cry 2 are presented this way, but in the trailers it's Farcry (0:12) what's the correct form????

@Gazinne Far Cry is the correct form. Its two words, Far as in you're far from civilization and Cry because.. well... Crytek Studios developed the original game and they love putting "Cry" in thier titles. Example: Far Cry, Crysis and thier game engine Cryengine. Thats pretty much all there is to explain it. I don't recall to much crying going on in any of the Far Cry games...

(just cause 2 for example in the trailers and boxart is justcause2, all together, but different coulors, so we can understand, but far cry is the same coulor).......

@MrLulcats yeah that's my dream game...too bad today's gamers are 10 year olds who can't stand a slight challenge and need to camp or be walking tanks to get kills. But if you got a good computer you shouldntry ArmA, you don't have to eat but it's an army simulator with an epic mission editor and it's pretty realistic. You can try it for free on steam look up ArmA 2.

@DerFreiegedanke You may not be able to strangle a man in 3 seconds, but you can definitely knock a man out cold with a choke hold that fast, which is what that first takedown looked like. Also, it was pretty brief on the screen, but you could definitely see the metal rolling runner in his hand when he grabs the zipline. Not bare hand.

I preferred the map style of Far Cry 2 having a small map you can bring up rather than a mini-map that this game has. Not really a negative to the game at all, just a personal preference. Can't wait though for this game to come out, definitely excited about it.

@SamuraiBattleCry I just preferred the minimalist HUD in general as this one appears to have a lot on the screen compared to Far Cry 2 that is. It's also one of the major problems I have with the recent Call of Duty games, there's too much on screen at once, not only is it annoying in it's own intrusive way it also breaks immersion which is what I really enjoyed about Far Cry 2.

@Demonhorse1 They always have a scaling system, so this is probably normal, but you could always select far cry difficulty instead. Doing good then feels like your a bona fide commando. Even though you may die like 10 times first to perfect an assault plan.

@WolfenFoust Im assuming they have difficulty settings of course. If the footage is showing the game in 'very easy' I would think that's ok. Im not trying to pick on a game that is not even on beta yet (I guess). I just love (deeply) Farcry1's gameplay and the fact that it was the only really challenging fps I've ever played (in the hardest difficulty setting). Games today reward people for accomplishing NOTHING, and I wouldn't like Farcry3 to go down this path, though it LOOKS like it is.
