The song is a Nasheed sung by Dawud Wharmsby Ali, known as "The Veil(hijab)". The words were written by a Canadian Muslimah sister reverted to Islam.

Cite the proof of what you state. If true it is unlikely the punishment was for masturbation but more likely for carrying on a lesbian relationship, if it even happened as you state.
