If you compare the BPM of the style's it will go a lil bit like this:

Dane/Trance -> Techno/Tekno -> Jumpstyle -> Hardstyle (usually a big ass Base) -> Hardcore -> Terror -> Speedcore -> Splittercore

Its almost all the same, I personally love Hardstyle becuz of the space melodie's and the big ass base blowing out ya speakerzz, Or terror cuz it has the perfect speed to dance.
