eventually the price of electric will come down.do you guys remember when you had to charge cell phones every hour now some last a whole week on standby.this is the kind of leapfroging that ec cars cant make in a short time.plus checking the cost have you tabulated the cost of iraq wars and afghanistan.these are all oil related and not to forget that creepy thing called global warming

@ingaman New battery technology, especially using new nano-materials like graphene and carbon nanotubes can negate both of those concerns. However petrol cannot be advanced. No technology will make petrol better, you can make the engine more efficient but petrol is a waning dead end.

Best car I ever owned. I can charge it almost anywhere. Charges with 110, 220, 240, or tesla high power at all dealers, and more places. This car will appreciate in value. It is a work of art. And you're saving our Mother Earth.

I own a Tesla Roadster, worst most unreliable car ever built. It has the build quality of a homemade kit car, and its reliability is so bad, I can't think of anything to compare it too. Also the resale value on a tesla roadster is so bad its not worth it for me to sell it. Shame on Tesla suing BBC for speaking the truth about these horrific cars. Good luck Tesla, BBC is a media Giant, makes CNN look like cable access TV, BBC will counter sue you untill you go bankrupt!

the internal combustion engine is only 20% efficient and has been since its inception. time for a change. the electric car is the answer to lowering our need for oil and having to fight wars over it. also, the air we breath and our childrens future on this planet will be better off. people who shit on this idea with un informed statements blow me away. those of us who can afford this car should buy it and set an example and in the future, hopefully more affordable vehicles will be available.

Moving to all electric vehicles is not a good idea until we move to clean energy plants to generate electricity. Plus, how long does it take to recharge an electric car? There are problems that need to be solved first before we start telling everyone to go out and buy electric cars.

the baterys cost 19 thousend dollars.......you need them new all 60 thousend miles.........that make the price go up to around 3.10 dollar per mile......most expensive ride ever lol ........ and wait 36 houres to can drive 200 miles again ? not in real..........how useless is the car please?

You should probably do your research before saying anything, this car has the power and as the stats show it CAN handle the high speeds for extended amounts of time and distance. Electric vehicles are still not at all perfected, in the near future Tesla Motors will produce faster, more efficient, and less expensive vehicles. Compared to other electric cars I would rather drive a Tesla.
