Agreed. I can't wait until I can get to using it again. I ended up having to have shoulder surgery from that crash had, and still have a couple more weeks of recovery before my doc will let me start riding outside again.

Thanks. Looking forward to it, but I'm going to have to get as much outside riding in as possible over a short time. Looks like I need shoulder surgery from the injuries sustained in the crash, and soon :(. IT's definitely going to complicate things, but I still intend to manage riding the Triple Bypass. I'll just have to train indoors on the trainer for a while after the surgery.
That's a pretty exotic looking helmet, and a great gesture from Tim. I'm reasonably versed on motorcycle helmets, but not at all on bike helmets. I just know they all cost an arm and a leg these days. Don't break this one. LOL
Thanks! Yeah he is. I was pretty bummed about my old helmet, which was a very high end helmet too. I couldn't afford to replace it, even with the 30% discount from Giro's crash replacement program, and had instead purchased a far cheaper lid that will be miserable when the weather gets hot. I won't have any of those issues with this new, even better one!! I'll reserve the other for ultra cold weather and a backup (every cyclist needs a backup, for when the primary one is wrecked).
