I'd agree, the first one was the best. #2 announcer just didn't seem right for traditional gear.

If I had to pick... I would have to say #1... but I'm not happy with either. The # speaker just sounds tired, or bored.,, a generic read. The second one sounds like you're trying to sell a car down, "So BUY TODAY...with no money down!". In short, the reader has to believe in what their selling, and not just trying to read something off a paper. Just my 2 cents.

the second one is more attention getting. though the first one is more ordinary, marketing is about getting peoples attention. id rather talk to the first guy but the second makes a better commercial
