  • I read in a book (and I'm not sure whether this is correct or not, but it's what I read!) that the Lion's Mane Jellyfish's tentacles can grow to about fifty feet long, and one sting from it means only about three minutes left to live... this is what I read.

  • Might've been another species though... maybe. I shall do some research!

  • i also read that they can grow up to 120ft long due to there tentacles

  • Yeah? Wow... I found out the jellyfish that is the most deadly, and it's not the Lion's Mane Jellyfish. Technically, they say it isn't even classified as a jellyfish, but it's called the Chironex Fleckeri, or Box Jellyfish, and one sting leaves you with only four minutes to live. Dangerous... but their tentacles are only like 15cm long I think.

  • @CorrosiveTouch That's a sea wasp. Lion's mane are pretty dangerous still but can be treated

  • those thing hurt like a bitch when they sting u
