i dont see no sense in learing a complex program or even a programming language to create something i can do with a tracker and a few vsti's in 15 Minutes.
@hardweird I see your point, especially for most types of music, but the purpose is really twofold: first, with a tracker or host program with vsti's, you are limited to the features of that program and can't change features or customize them beyond what is available in the settings, and second, it enables you to actually develop new ways of interacting and creating music that no tracker or commercially available program can offer.

I like this a lot. This is similar to what I've always been interested in doing with Pure Data, but I've never made anything quite this complete.
