Thanks for posting this. I used to live in Saddle Brook

near this crossing and go back there to train watch

when I'm in town. We would use those tracks to get

to friends homes. Nearly got hit by the 5pm express

100 yards north of Plauderville station back in 1964.

Mostly get to watch BNSF now here in San Diego.

Miss the Erie. My Dad used to take me to watch

steam on this line. Got a ride in a road switcher down

Monroe st. to the river in 1961. Great memories.
