@BiggySn1p3r Hahaha oh absolutely. He doesn't have bad puck control, he's just a smallish guy compared to a lot of others in the league. But there's no doubt in my mind that there's no one else on the Wings who works harder than him, besides maybe Eaves or Miller. That line has been absolute fire for the team - nothing but energy and grit all season long so far.
It's players like Helm who don't get enough credit for doing the "dirty work". He doesn't score every time he's on the ice but he has the smarts,grits, and determination to be a sucessful player in the NHL one of my favorite players in the NHL and I am not a Wings fan.
Helm is such a badass. But he's not cocky at all. He's humbled and just goes out and plays. He reminds me of Stevie Y. I think Helm will have the "C" on his jersey after Lidstrom retires. Helm is awesome. Definitely the next jersey I buy!! Let's Go Wings!!!!

I was saying he's humbled and just goes out and plays like Stevie always did. Helm is like a Draper, but he's faster and has much better hands. He will have at least an "A" on his jersey, but I can definitely see him with a "C" and scoring 25-30 per for the next 10 years after this season. And the best part is he's only 22!!

Helm is just another example of Ken Holland and the rest of the organization and its scouting's outstanding efforts that make them so good now for so long. I heard people call the the Yankees of Hockey, but come on, the Red Wings win. Two cups since the the cap was installed and up one in this one. They are the closest thing to a dynasty in modern sports.
Helm's future is super bright. He's lightening fast, great hitter, great puck handler, and he's not intimidated. This is not the first time I have seen him totally dominate a line by himself.

Lombardi was put into a big role on a team lacking a true center, though. Helm will be on the 3rd line and no higher.
