What an absolutely astonishing film. we just finished watching it in a high school class of mine. Everyone was crying. So emotional and so powerful, the symbolism is overwhelming. I wish everyone in America (my country) knew about this movie and not the garbage Hollywood throws at us. It definitely deserves more praise and more than the 7.9 rating IMDB dubbed it with.

@azadmadrid Yo pienso que es más bien una metafora, hablando de las torgutas como los niños incapacitados de sus manos etc... y "también vuelan" hace referencia a todo lo que logran durante el transcurso del film.

Se ve en la última escena, la niña siempre aparecía con el bebé a la espalda... y echa a volar. Vi la película con el corazón encogido...

¿y echa a volar?, la mendiga niña ahogo al pobre bebe, y después ella se suicida aventándose a un barranco... triste, el nene era producto de una violación que sufrió la niña por parte de los siempre malditos soldados, la niña estaba muerta en vida y quería acabar a como diese lugar con su sufrimiento, lo logro...

All his films are perfect but I became very sad after seeing the reality of world on Kurdish childs/people. There isn't any difference between me and the other kurd girls/boys. I am a bit lucky to born in Turkey territory near Iraq. All of us are brothers and we should keep in touch in some way. I cried a lot while watching this film, the face of boy was very similar to my brother. Nobody want to see/dream his/her brother in this conditions.
